Ochsner Lsu Health Shreveport- Academic Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

This place should not be the ones training the future medical field workers. After a certain "chain" of events for 2 months now which started as a basic procedure that went bad from not following up on patients "documented surgical issues and reactions" and continuous misinformation and alteration of conversations, and life changing... I think a lawyer would find this case very disturbing.

The staff at Ochsner OR bullies their students to the point that Northwestern pulled their students out of clinical there. This should be investigated. The physical and verbal abuse from Ochsner staff should NOT be tolerated.

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport is a great hospital for medical care and services. Their Doctors and Nurses are awesome professionals.

I was involved in a wreck almost a year ago and I’m still receiving bills. The icu nurses were very disrespectful and uncaring. The doctor that did surgery on my sternum never talked to me. When I went back for a checkup they weren’t concerned that I had pooping noises in my chest which I have now found out the screws have come loose from the plates they put in that originally I was told it was something different they put in my chest. I wouldn’t take my dog there!!!

Very efficient and kind. Helped me through the worst time in my life with professionalism and empathy.

🗣️THEY NEED MORE PARKING AREA FOR THE CLINICS!!!! Been driving around about and 1hr there is NO spaces😡😡. Build more spaces to park so people can get to there appointment on time or having to reschedule.

My fiancé is there with a swollen knee (we think it has fluid) had a horrible time there. Waiting for 6 hrs after he got blood drawn an his vitals. Asked for a wheelchair a they were out? Whatever. He had to borrow a lady's charger who had been there since 6 am as well🤷🏻‍♀️ it's now 9pm don't even wanna give them a one star. If you're on your death bed do not go to them you'll die before you get service.

I really hate this whole hospital, everyone connected to Oschner and the Staff .. none of you have any regards for the urgency of some matters in people lives you guys just move at your own pace especially when dealing with Medicaid recipients. I bet if i was white and had health insurance that i paid for Im sure you would have gotten my referral done .. i needed my ADAA filled out before August 17th and still have received no communication on how to move forward on the fastest way of seeing a psychiatrist .. i hope the universe does its thing with all of you involved . I hope your children get handled carelessly in life, hope they get real sick too because yall are just greedy and money hungry The universe will never bless any of you

I was seen to quickly after I arrived to triage my care,of course the test and blood work and vitals were done very quick now the wait for answers took very long time waiting but after they got all test back then ordered more test,then had to wait longer,the wait times are very long,but I felt so bad I didn't care cause I just wanted help,now some with urgent needs,emergencies were of course taken sooner and I understand that,but once I was seen by doctors after all test came back the doctor s explained to me the condition I had and what I may expect and what I need to do,The doctor was very caring and smart and explained things to me where I understood,and the nurses were very caring and proactive,and the PA was awesome to. I'm very satisfied and blessed to have treatment there.the whole team there is very thorough, I'd say bring a pillow and dress in warm clothes cause it gets cold in there and pack a lunch and water .and I brought my medicine in case I was in ER long time so I wouldn't miss my medication. There doctors are very smart

Arrived at 2:30 with my mother and had not seen a nurse when we eventually left at 4:30. 2 hours of sitting in pain, waiting. Nurses and doctors were lounging around doing nothing, or eating. Proceeded to tell us to feel better and take care after not properly checking on us. Bedside manner is a definite lack here but an important skill in healthcare. Unfortunately this location is subpar in many aspects.
