He is a good doctor . He spends the time answering my questions. He explains everything. He is very caring. As far as his staff, his nurse is very rude. I left this practice several years ago because of her. Because I like Dr Rushing so much, I came back. I was hoping things had changed. But she is still rude. Dr Rushing has been my doctor for over 20 years. I have already made an appointment with another doctor.

My husband, who passed away, and I have been patients of Dr. Paul Rushing since he first came to Highland Hospital. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, a good listener and goes far and beyond his role as primary care physician. When a specialist is needed he does not hesitate to recommend and arrange consultations. I always feel pleased that he has my health issues at heart.

Dr. Rushing was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I hate going to doctors, but I felt like he took the time to listen to me and understand where I was coming from with some of my problems and talked me through options and what he thought was best. He never cut me off or acted as if anything I said was irrelevant or unimportant. I didn't feel like he was going through the motions or just getting me out the door. I cannot express enough how much I appreciated it. Enough to leave a sincere 5*

I've been in his care for over 15 years. He's thorough, thoughtful and easy to talk to. His has a vast knowledge base and has been successful in treating everything from the common cold to severe kidney infections. A relationship with your doctor should be based on communication and trust and I've found that with this physician.
