Rama Letchuman's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to him for about 3 years now for my ruptured disc in my spine. He has been amazing with me and very informative, anything I ask about he or his staff have no problems answering, they also give me a full breakdown of it all and what to expect before, during and after. Thank you for helping me with my pain one ablation at a time ( 1 every year ).

After being my doctor for 10 years, he walked in one day and told me that my pain is a luxury item that I cannot afford, and called me a charity case. I have two different insurances that they billed almost those years and never heard a complaint before that day. I suffer greatly and have for 30 years. It will never ever go away and for a doctor to treat me this way is unacceptable. I can't do anything about it except warn others.

It's horrible because I suffer greatly. Still do.

After seeing this doctor for 10 years for chronic pain, he told me that I could no longer be his patient because my pain was a luxury item and I couldn't afford it. He claimed that my insurance was not paying them and he couldn't treat charity cases . I have been in chronic pain for 30 years and I don't wish it on anyone but it be treated this way is absolutely absurd. I still am having a hard time finding a good doctor

Bulging Disc had injections

It’s not about Dr. Letchuman, it’s about his schedulers. My doctor submitted an order for an injection and I called everyday for a week and a half and was constantly told they were waiting on approval from insurance company. Finally, I called the insurance co and was told they needed additional information which had been relayed to the office. To make a long story short, it has been 2 1/2 months since the order was received by Dr. Letchuman’s office and I still don’t have the injection. I’ve been a patient of Letchuman for 10 plus years and his schedulers are horrible and Dr. Letchuman has no idea that he is about to lose a patient due to their lack of communication and compassion. I’m in excruciating pain and they don’t care.

I have never had a doctor gives such care and concern and kindness as Dr. Letchumsn. He always makes me feel like I’m the only one there at the time. Very thorough and precise. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Letchuman imposes his belief's on his patients and treats all as if all they want is drugs & are addicts! I've never had a doctor treat me this way before. My new Dr explains my meds to me and what the long term affects are. As well as alternative treatments. I do not recommend this doctor to you if you want quality care! Pam S'port., La.

Dr. Letchuman has been my pain mgmt physician for almost 8 years and I recommend him highly. He is very kind, patient, compassionate, and, as far as I am concerned, the BEST in his field! You may expect to have his full attention during both office visits and procedures. His selective nerve root blocks are the most accurate and pain-relieving that I have had. Dr. Letchuman's assistant, Erin, and his nurse, Janine, are wonderful! This team takes great care of me and always makes me feel at ease!

Dr. Letchuman has been my pain mgmt. physician for almost 8 years. He is the most caring and compassionate doctor that I have seen in my 48 years. Both his NP (Erin) and his nurse (Janine) are so sweet and they are a bright ray of sunshine in my day. I cannot imagine being in chronic pain without these wonderful people in my life. They've become family to me. I highly recommend Dr. Letchuman and his nursing staff. Their dedication to the patient's needs is efficient and thorough.
