I am a former patient of Shiners at Shervport. I was a patient from 1972-1979. If had not been for them I would have never walked. Would love to talk to patients now and former patients.

I was a Shriner's patient from 1964 until 1978. The best hospital care for Children in my book. I was a patient at the hospitals in Shreveport and Greenville, SC both. They always have a special place in my heart. I am a Mason now and hopefully will eventually become a Shriner in the near future.

Maybe caught them on an off day or week or something but what a mess.... very dirty, trash and food all over the waiting area. Checked in twice and still waited 2 hours... WITH and appointment. I hope I just got them on a bad day, because its such a worthy cause.....

Excellent experience from beginning to end with my son’s leg injury. The wait time was a little longer than we anticipated but they are working their tails off! There are obviously a lot of children in need in our area. Everyone here was awesome and we’re so grateful during this hard time.

We drive about 7 hours one way to go to this hospital for my daughter. They are the best from the greeting staff, environmental staff all the way to the doctors here! Everybody at this hospital is there for the children! They provide some of the best care for the children there and do everything they can to make them comfortable and to feel welcomed! This hospital was built for children they have so much for them to do while you wait in the clinic or if you are there for a short stay for whatever reason. I had taken my daughter to two other children's hospital before taking her to Shriners and I regret not taking her sooner! Dr. Powell and Dr. Milstead are just amazing along with their staff. They have helpped my daughter so much over the past two years and explained the process every step of the way. I totally recommend coming here coming to this hospital is worth the drive these people will not waste your time.
