Thomas A. Pressly's Online Review Report Card

If you value your quality of life, do not go see this man. He doesn't even deserve to be called a doctor. I saw him from December of 2020 until April of 2022. I was referred to him because of blood work that all pointed to rheumatoid arthritis. He never did any blood work but prescribed me a medication. I ended up being severely allergic to that medication and had to go to the ER. At my follow up, I brought this up to him. He still tried to prescribe me this medication at EVERY VISIT AFTER THIS. When I would remind him I'm allergic, he would tell me to take Motrin. He had me take 12 Motrin a day, every day. When this eventually made me sick, I stopped and at my next visit I tried to bring up other medication options. I mentioned one and he said "no, that's for people with arthritis". I brought up to him that I was here in the first place because all of my blood work indicated rheumatoid arthritis. He then raised his voice and told me that the blood work was wrong because my joints don't look swollen and he wasn't going to do it. He refused to look into my issues at all. He just told me to lose weight, take ibuprofen, gave me one of his beloved joint injections, and sent me on my way. I saw him one more time after that and the joint injections that he pushes so hard caused me so much pain that I never went back. I'm writing this review now because I finally saw a new rheumatologist today and they actually felt my joints and could feel they're swollen. They did the Beighton test for hypermobility and I was 9/9. The medication I asked Mr. Pressly about that he turned down is what this doctor thinks is the best option. Because of Pressly's lack of compassion and competence, I suffered with severe pain and no treatment for an extra 2 and a half years. Please save yourself the time and energy and see someone else. He's a terrible doctor who has no place in the medical field.

Dr. Pressly is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I’ve ever met. After suffering for ten years going from doctor to doctor, Dr. Pressly finally pinpointed the problem and started appropriate treatment. Now I am finally able to live a better quality of life!

This was a warm caring environment. Dr. Pressly was kind and considerate! He is very confidant. He said he would try to find out what is causing my problems besides the obvious. The staff was very professional and I did not think the wait time was too terribly long. If you would like to see long, go to Oshner's. Thank you Dr. Pressly and staff for taking me on and being so kind to me. That is a rarity.

There is sometimes a long wait, but it has been a lot better recently. But, he is such a good Dr. I’d wait twice as long to see him. He is not only good in his speciality, he is also very good with advice about your other ailments.

Appointment was at 1230. Was there at 1215. Took back to the room at 100 and was inthe till 2 with no update. Been an hour and half after my appointment so I ask for my copay back and left. Tell me if I would have been hour and half late for an appointment they would have seen me.

Knowledgeable and caring doctor

Dr. Thomas Pressly helped save my life, he is very well informed on the best medications and treatments. He’s definitely concerned and has his patients best interest at heart. I would recommend him to those who believe and are dedicated to their health and wellness. I’m very grateful for my doctor, I wouldn’t trade him for anything. Thank you Dr. Pressly.
