Good Psychiatrist, Terrible communicator He's a great psychiatrist in that he cares about his patients, incredibly difficult to reach over the phone and email. Cvs couldn't even get in touch with him. I'd rate him higher but this is the second time to which i've needed a refill and he's just been completely MIA. I had to reach out to the dean at my school to even get in touch with his assistant.

He treated me for eight years and then dismissed me for a minor misunderstanding with his staff. Turns out, one of the medications he had me on the entire eight years is intended for very short term use and highly addictive. He dismissed me with one month of medication and then refused to give me my medical records. He rushed me through appointments and would be writing out my prescriptions while we talked. I felt he didn’t really care, he just wanted the money. When I became a little insistent on his listening to me for at least a few minutes, he put in the one page summary that was all he would give my new doctor that I ‘complained’ about my problems. Now, months later, I am still tapering off the medication and it has been quite difficult. Do no harm, indeed.

Dropped me after 8 years over my making a mildly sarcastic comment to his staff. Refused to give me my records, then when a Dr. requested them, he left out relevant information, and frankly, was dishonest about my treatment and behavior. He said if they wanted my complete records it would be weeks, which I don't believe is legal. After growing tired of being rushed through appointments, and still not feeling well, I had started sharing more and he told them I started 'complaining'. He had me on medication for 8+ years that is recommended for only a month or so and is highly addictive, and dropped me with less than one month of meds and on my own to get off the medication. I trusted him and overlooked his arrogance and coldness because of his plaques and promises. Now I've learned that the medication he had me on can cause anxiety and depression, problems I mentioned every single visit. So with a good doctor, I may not have suffered these 8 years, or suffered less. My fault I guess for trusting him.

Never again!

This person is selfish, deceitful, cold hearted , and self serving. I saw him for a few years due to lack of mental health care providers in the area. I was either over medicated or under medicated. He failed greatly at medication management. Due to a disagreement he stopped a medication that put me in acute withdrawal that lasted for months. If not for my Heavenly Father, my Savior Jesus Christ And the loving support of my family I would not be here to WARN YOU!!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Mangat for about 2 years after having a terrible bout with Covid 19. I had never had the need for for this type of service in my life prior to experiencing the after Effects of Covid. I find Dr Mangat to be Highly Intelligent in his chosen field. He is Honest, Sincere and Extremely Caring in regards to his Patients. He is Genuine and Spends a Lot of Time with me on each visit. His Staff is also Super Nice and Accommodating.. His Care and Recommendations have Improved my Well Being Dramatically! The Hippocratic Oath is Alive and Well at Dr. Mangat’s Office !

This man, if you can call him that, is ridiculous. It was my very first appointment with him and he had me committed after not even 5 minutes of talking to me. This man had to be a solid 6'5",250+ and told his nurse to call the police because he was scared for his safety! 🤣🤣🤣 He is a pure joke
