Dr. Pothenini is an excellent cardiologist. He is attentive when you are speaking and explains everything in terms you can understand. I have been very pleased with his care. He has a calming demeanor which puts you at ease. I like his straight forward approach to patient care.

Without a doubt, Dr. Pothineni was a vital part in saving my life. He performed the angiogram which discovered that I had 3/100% blockages and a 4th/60%.blockage in the "widowmake." It was beyond stints as they where located in the main arteries coming just off the heart which required an immediate quadruple bypass. That portion was performed by Dr. Herbert (CV Surgeon) there at Slidell Memorial Hospital's new Heart Center. Dr. Pothineni still is and always will be our families Cardiologist.
