Madelyn Wiegand's Online Review Report Card

She been my Dibetic doctor for couple years I have hard time stayin on track and follow the rules and she been amazing and very nice also she really cares about her patients I have very hard time with needles and checking bloodnsuger she has gotten me different types of blood check items and works with you to get you doin better for your health she reminds me when of my first Dibetic doctor when I was 13yrs old in Florida most doctors usuly just get u in and out but Wiegand isn’t like that she super nice and always try’s to suggest ways to improve my numbers even went as far since I have hard time checking and showing up to them where I have an app for meter that would upload to them if I could keep the blood sugwe checking meter on my body I absolutely love this doctor staff can be mean at time but mostly they super sweet but not as nice as their doctor thank you for dealin with my stubbornness of not able to follow rules i resllt be tryin to do as she ask just I happen to have so much in life go on I lose track of things

Dr. Wiegand is a very caring doctor. I've been her patient for about 20 years now? She is wonderful.

I've been a patient of Dr. Wiegand's for 17 years, and after my experience today, it'll be my last. Her staff is always friendly, and she used to go above and beyond when it came to patient care. She was double booked this morning, and I waited 30 minutes to get called back. I was the second person there. Ten minutes later, she came in for the visit. No apology or explanation as to why I had to wait so long (she usually apologizes and explains she was with a patient at the hospital or had an emergency). My weight was slightly up, and instead of offering encouragement on how I can better manage it, any idea I discussed was shot down with negativity. I've never felt like such a failure, and to top it off, weight in general is a sensitive topic. I've struggled with it my entire adult life. In addition, she asked if I received the vaccine. I've done my personal research and have decided to wait until I'm done having kids to do so. My personal choice. She told me I NEED to get it and said her daughter wants kids soon, but she got vaccinated anyways. Good for her. She also snarkily said, "any information out there saying it affects fertility isn't true anyways." I just replied with, "ok." It took everything in me not to burst into tears this entire appointment, and out of the years I've been a patient, I have NEVER been so rudely treated (by any doctor) in my life. I moved to Texas 7 years ago and considered switching four years back for the sake of not scheduling appointments around my time off/vacation days. Now, I'm browsing doctors close to me who will take action instead of shut down and condemn.

Terrible,TeRriBLe, TERRIBLE Office. There's no way I would ever recommend this so called Doctor. If you have a test procedure ordered by her, Good Luck on hearing about your results.They gave me a link to sign into for follow-ups and results.Two weeks after my test, all the link showed was, what test Im having done and profile info . That's it! $700 to find out that I have no issues but, it took my neurologist to read the medical results from the hospital I had the procedure done at to find that out! I'LL never use this facility again.

I saw Dr. Wiegand for the first time today. Amazing Physician. She took her time with me explained everything. She truly cares about her patients. The staff very friendly and nice.

It takes an act of congress to schedule a new patient appointment. Dr Wiegand might be great, but I'll never know because her receptionist, Robin, the troll guarding the bridge, is so unhelpful and rude. Had to find a different doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wiegand's since 2005. I was referred to her when I was 15, and my thyroid levels were through the roof (I gained 50 pounds in one year - and I exercised daily). At this point, she is like family to me. I moved to Houston 9 years later, and I still see her whenever I'm home and need an appointment. Once she establishes a relationship with her patients, you learn she genuinely cares about your wellbeing. My parents are trying to switch over to her since they have thyroid issues as well, and my mom just loves her. She is one of the most genuine specialists I've ever had, and for that reason, I can't imagine switching over to someone else. Dr. Wiegand is like family to us - she's watched me go through high school, college, grad school, and start in my career.

What a wonderful experience. I left there saying "Wow, I really like her!" I wanted to give her a big hug. Great bedside manners. Very sweet and sincere. She explained the functions of my thyroid so that I could easily understand. Very accommodating.

Probably the worst customer experience I've had with a medical professional. After being referred here from another primary care doctor who told me to see a specialist, I've had nothing but problems with Dr. Wiegand office. They were not only RUDE on the phone but after making me drop of both the referral and insurance card in person, they told me see only reviews new patient forms once a week. I'm then told it will be the middle of next week before they would even let me know if I pass their screening process. What the hell is that all about! Beware of this doctor, the note on the door say they only except cash or checks and payments are made before services are rendered. Seems like someone is more worried about money and less concerned about the their patients health. Find another Endocrinologist other than Dr. Claire Wiegand. Use Google and trust the reviews, I should have. There's a reason no one has written anything pleasant about this office.

Dr. Wiegand and her staff are absolutely amazing! She has been my Doctor for over 20 years and I have never had anything but a great experience! Dr. Wiegand is professional, caring, and all around a Doctor of impeccable character! Furthermore, her staff is always there to be helpful with a smile! Kudos to this group ~
