I’ve been a patient of Dr Pernenkil’s for several years now. He’s very thorough, very caring and very smart. He stays on top of your tests results and takes necessary precautions to make sure you get the best medical treatment. I trust his knowledge and feel very comfortable with him as my cardiologist.

He treated my mom in the hospital. Gave her 325mg aspirin and Plavix. I questioned him about this due to concerns of a GI bleed. He told me to let him be the doctor, not me. My mom ended up with 3 bleeding ulcers and was hospitalized again. Bad decision on his part.

Dr Pernenkil is an excellent cardiologist. His nurse practitioner is adequate, but the office staff that we have had to deal with is evasive ,uninformed ,not helpful and unconcerned with the welfare of the patient . We have had several friends that have changed cardiology groups due to the office staff. I would have given 5 stars for dr but due to poor staff I gave 4

One of the smartest and kindest doctors I have ever encountered professionally and personally. Treats patients as an individual, doesn't rush appointments, accurate diagnosis, has NEVER been too busy to listen to your needs. A true gentleman also. His present nurse, Lisa, could not be more professional and courteous.
