List of Slidell Memorial Hospital East Northshore's Reviews
Excellent service (x-rays) from receptionist to lap technician to finish. Quite professional. My results were read & posted to My Chart by the time I got home. Very impressive.
I came in for a bone scan. In and out in no time. Excellent customer service and couldn’t have asked for better care!
Cracked my knee (patella) from a dog going zoomie miles per hour with a direct hit. I was still able to walk with little pain after a day or two. I went to my doctor and got a referral for non emergency care at the orthopedic department of Slidell Memorial . I used crutches and a brace to prevent further damage but didn’t need surgery. I have great insurance so the allowed amounts were probably lower than some. My share was @$2000 so far. Some of the bills are still pending so I’m not sure if that’s all yet. Price transparency: $2000ish - @ $1000 for the 2 office visits, the doctors that showed up to the visits, and the visit for my doctor that referred me (charged separately), @ $1000 for the 3 x-rays (two of the same kind 6 weeks apart and one of a different view on the 1st visit), the doctors that looked at them, and the knee brace (also charged separately). Service was great, billing is slow and they send it back to insurance too many times trying to get more. The before Insurance amounts were about $5-7k and the allowed amount of that was about $2k. I would pay 20% of the $2k if my deductible were met already (but it’s not until these bills finish processing). The alternative is risking your mobility now or as you age so it is worth it, even if you have to apply for assistance.
I was so pleased at how my procedure went I was nervous but the nurse helped me through everything!! And I would recommend anyone to come here!! They took good care of me!! Love the nurses Robin and Caitlyn they’re on the 1st floor!! And all the other nurses that I can’t remember their names! And the Drs!!
I went for an ultrasound and Mandy made it the most comfortable gynecological experience I've ever had! I was dreading going in, but Mandy made the whole experience feel quick, painless, and like I was just chatting with a friend.
I went in for a PFT (pulmonary function test) at 8:00 AM I barely had a chance to sit in the waiting area when I was called for the procedure. Went directly to the testing area and had the procedure with no more waiting and no issues. From there they directed me to the CT scan area (Radiology) and I walked in, lay down and the scan was completed in minutes. No problems or delays whatsoever. Highly Recommended
Wonderful, caring staff throughout the facility.. Also, it is an easy process from check-in to the completed procedure. Quick and efficient staff that doesn't waste your time and treats you with respect.
The technician that serviced me were really patient and kind.
They are very polite & efficient. They made me feel calm & and comfortable, which made the cat scan a pleasant experience. A great team from the front desk to the tech's in the back. SM Imaging is #1!
Waiting time was not long. Staff very friendly and very knowledgeable of procedure I was having done. I will continue to refer SMH

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
