This doctor put my 86 yr old mother through a stress test after she displayed symptoms of a heart attack. He declared it was not a heart attack. Two weeks later, she came to his office for a follow up, having difficulty breathing, walking, talking. He looked at his computer, NOT HER. He decided she had an “auto immune” problem with her heart and prescribed prednisone. An hour after leaving his office, she was in the ER having had a massive and fatal heart attack, intubated and diagnosed with severe heart disease. As I was preparing to spend my last night with my unconscious mother who died in my arms, this doctor called me in the ER to express regret and surprise at what had happened, that never in his 7 years of practice had he seen this. I hung up on him. I will never forgive his incompetence.
