Kidshine Amesbury's Online Review Report Card

Kidshine is a great place for kids to learn through play and fun! Alie and Lauren have been amazing with my son who is working on his sensory challenges and fine and gross motor skills. He is thriving and hitting his goals! Kidshine has also provided detailed evaluations and progress reports for us to use during the IEP process at his school as well and their partnership has been wonderful and so helpful. Can’t recommend them enough!

My soon to be 18 month old has only been at KidShine for a few months and I have already seen such awesome strides in his development. His OT Alie is amazing, kind, patient, creative and has made the best connection with my kiddo! He is swinging, climbing, and getting comfortable exploring his environment without mom right by his side. She is also always awesome about communicating with me and keeping me in the loop. We just started a group session in addition to our weekly sessions with Alie and it already seems like exactly what my kiddo needs. Highly recommend KidShine and couldn’t be happier!

KidSHINE has been such a great help to our 5 year old son for his sensory processing needs. Not only does he love and look forward to his time there, but he has learned ways to help recognize and respond to feeling dysregulated. His father and I have learned how to help him as well through lots of great communication and feedback by his OTs. I can’t thank Ms. Kelsey or Ms. Katherine enough for all their wonderful help and support!

Marissa at KidShine has been absolutely amazing with my almost 5 year old. We have seen tremendous improvement in all fields where my daughter was struggling. We’ve not only seen Improvements at home, but teachers have pulled us aside to share the leaps they’ve seen in class as well. I was skeptical about zoom sessions (snowstorms/illnesses), but Marissa planned really fun and engaging activities to keep my daughters attention during those rare zoom sessions. My 2 children took part in Kidstrong Boot Camp in March 2016. Having worked with Amy in the past, I was thrilled that there was another option for my children to participate in some physical activity over the winter months. After the first class both my children loved it. They were both were excited to try new obstacles each week, and see how they could improve and learn new skills and use muscles they didn’t know they had! Amy made each activity fun but challenging enough to motivate the kids. Both of my children exhibited a boost in confidence and reduced anxiety after each class. They participated in activities that they would’ve never been offered anywhere else. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to allow my children to participate in Kidstrongs bootcamp and continue to visit Kidstrong on a weekly basis with my youngest child for OT services. Amy and her team are absolute professionals. They are always going above and beyond to offer solutions customized for each child. Many of the techniques we learned in OT years ago are still valuable today regardless of my children’s abilities or current state. Their approach is fun and their solutions are based on each individual child’s needs. I would highly recommend their services to any parent looking for OT services or just to get additional strength training/exercise/confidence building for their child.

I worked with Amy for years. She is amazing therapist and has developed amazing programs. Kidstrong staff and programs help children learn new skills as well as build up their self confidence and social skills.

We have loved Kidstrong for our son who has sensory issues and low muscle tone. Amy has given feedback that we haven’t heard from previous providers and definitely not from school evaluations! It’s a great atmosphere for kids of all abilities and offers opport notices for parent classes as well. It’s amazing for the whole family!

I highly recommend Amy Wheadon and Kidstrong. She has an incredible ability to explain child development and provide information and suggested activities for parents, caregivers and teachers to create opportunities to assist children to overcome difficulties and reach their potential. I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for an amazing Boot Camp today. Both of my kids had an absolute blast. I will definitely be signing my children up for your classes in the spring. They both loved it! I now understand why everybody speaks so highly of Kidstrong. Amy is so great at what she does. You can tell she truly loves her job, and puts 110% into it.
