Dr. Hubbe is such a great eye doctor! His quiet bedside manner and thorough examination makes having an eye exam with him a breeze. He explains everything well and is such a nice guy!

I have been seeing Dr. Hubbe for at least fifteen years and have always felt well cared for. Dr. Hubbe and his associates are extremely knowledgeable and thorough in their examinations and explanations.

I had a referral from urgent care, had peripheral flashes and new floaters in one eye, and needed a retinal check for tears. The staff got me in that day, and although I expected to wait, I was seen promptly. Dr Hubbe checked my eye thoroughly and answered all my questions. I felt he was very professional, very competent and enjoyed his job. Also happy that I didn't need further treatment. Very reassuring. I will be transferring to him. The front office staff like to chat, making patients wait.

I have had a variety of eye problems, and Dr. Hubbe has always been very thorough, professional, and caring in his help. This has included cataract surgery, complex eyeglass prescriptions and helping me with referrals and follow-up before and after surgery in Boston for strabismus (wandering eye) correction in my late 50's. Yes, you have to wait sometimes in a busy office. I felt that all the staff were courteous, knew their jobs, and kept me informed well. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Hubbe.

50 minute wait to see the doctor is not unusual...Today I left this practice after many years of tolerating snide, and sometimes rude, staff. I realize it must be difficult to be on the front line when the doctors are consistently running late but it is exasperating to not be told upon asking just how late the doctor is running.Last time I called ahead to ask about the wait. I was told to come in on time yet the doctor was running 30 minutes llate All this is to see the actual doctor for 5-10 minutes after being treated by technicians.Not worth it. The expectation in medical practices that it is okay to keep a patient waiting for 50 minutes whilst expecting patients to be on time or reschedule is impossible to reconcile. I recognize emergencies happen but a call to reschedule the appointment would be good service and would recognize we have lives that prevent us from waiting for an hour for an appointment.I am ranking this practice one star because zero stars are not available. Enough already!

I have had Dr. Bleiman as my ophthalmologist for many years and love every thing about him and his office staff. Both in Amherst and Northampton. I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes and he referred me to Dr. Hubbe. Dr. Bleiman is no longer doing cataract surgery. I can not say enough good about Dr. Hubbe AND HIS STAFF. The are all kind, considerate, prompt and caring. I recently had one cataract removed and look forward to getting the other one done soon. The facility they have in West Springfield is a well managed clinic. I can not say enough about how kind, professional and nice the whole experience was from the driver that picked me up and delivered me home, to the nursing staff, anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Hubbe. I give them all great credit for making me feel safe and well taken care of. Both the clinic and the office has given me follow up calls. They have made this whole experience very easy.
