List of Stuart Chipkin's Reviews
My name is Sara. I saw Dr Chipkin back in 2009 for gender confirmation hormone therapy. Despite writing articles on the subject, he deliberately took me off my anti androgen with no reason given, presumably because he is transphobic and wishes to hurt as many trans people as he can. Sadly, I didn't realize at the time the incredible emotional impact that his malice had done and I collapsed into a depression for the next 12 years, by which it was too late to seek compensation. Despite there being nothing that I can do, he still won't return my phone calls with an I'm sorry. Please support an endocrinologist that supports the trans community, not hurts them
Dr. Chipkin is a great doctor. He is caring, knowledgeable and cares about his patient. He spends ample time to check on every small detail about the condition I was referred to him for. I really appreciate being his new patient
He is a very competent and knowledgeable doctor, but his arrogance drove me away.
He was good in the beginning. But then exposed that he doesn’t care to listen how the patient is feeling. Nor did he know how to treat “someone my age” for the condition I had so he didn’t even act like he cared. After I heard him throw an unprofessional fit about my needs as a patient with a serious condition, in the other room when his assistant went in there to get approval & discuss the appt with him. I decided he was def not a good dr & def not a good one for me. So I never went back.
(Have someone present and I’ll get too why soon) So I came there for hyperthyroidism at first it was nice he listened to my actual symptoms. After getting radiation therapy and becoming hypo and going on levothyroxine things slowly changed. Before having the radiation therapy he would examine me by him self and it would involve most things that made sense and were consistent BUT, early on he would examine my chest not like for lumps just check around my breasts I didn’t think anything of it and it might be nothing. Though last couple visits had a female doctor shadow in training and he did non of those examines and that’s why I say have someone present. Plus at the end yes literally avoided putting any symptoms down I said I haven’t felt great with energy and I had problems with my BM. When I got the visit note he wrote everything is going great basically just completely disregarding my symptoms b/c my numbers were good. I recently had a medicine change making my thyroid a little more toward the hyper side and all those issues went away no thanks to him. In the beginning he listened at the end it was spin and I realized he may have been creepy as well.
Love this doctor. While other endocrinologists wanted to kill my under active thyroid, he listened to me and worked on alternative approaches. Three years later, my thyroid is still in place and working as it should. He spends a great deal of time with his patients and is very caring. I've referred a few others to him. All are extremely please with Dr. Chipkin as their doctor and with his care.
He was very patient, kind and informative. Dr. Chipkin did a thorough history, and then asked me if I had any questions. Then he made a treatment plan. Excellent Experience!!
So nice ! So easy to talk with. We work together. He hears me. I wish he was my primary doctor.
Dr Chipkin is a very caring and down to earth doctor. He explains things extremely well and takes a surprising amount of time asking questions and giving explanations. He has a genuine concern and is the best doctor I have been to.
Thorough, competent and kind. Higher rating is not high enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
