OUTSTANDING experience. Very thankful

I started to attend Pentucket Medical Center in Andover and I’ve have had a great experience by far. Staff are very nice and friendly and very welcoming. Dr. John King is my new PCP and he has been excellent, very professional and caring towards his patients. I feel comfortable coming to him and sharing any concerns related to my health and he is understanding and detailed when advising on how to improve my lifestyle to better my health.

Super clean. Great staff. Everything made easy for me.

Terrible. Long time waiting. Have to drive from Haverhill to Andover to Lawrence to just get a chest X-ray. The staff is rude and don’t even bother trying to call their phones and expect to get a real person to help you. If you do - it’s at least thirty minutes on hold. If we had the option to go somewhere else we would.

Pentucket's Andover Medical group has been very responsive to several prescription requests and health concerns I have made recently using the Patient Gateway - 5 star performance. Most recently I was able to get a telehealth appointment on very short notice for a concern I had. Dr. King filled in for my PCP who was not available that day. He listened to my concern, asked clarifying questions, and with the assistance of Pentucket nursing and lab staff at Lawrence Express Care my problem was expertly and efficiently resolved, for which I am very grateful. Having never met him it would have been nice if Dr. King could have taken off his medical mask during the brief telehealth visit; however, the hidden face is identical to what you experience visiting a clinic or hospital or even a grocery store these days, a reminder of the seriousness of the pandemic and importance of infection control. Finally, I became mildly anxious when the tele-appointment didn't start on time and I watched the spinning wheel icon and "waiting for host to start meeting", wondering if there were technology problems at my end that might cause me to miss my appointment, or if it was just a busy doc running 5 minutes late. It was the latter. Next time I'll be more confident in the software and wait patiently.

First time visiting the Andover office and was very happy with my experience there. Everyone there was kind and courteous, everyone seemed happy to answer my questions. I found the staff was very professional and I am happy I use this office for my needs.

New to this specific location, used to go to the Haverhill Pentucket Medical. My new physician (Dr. King) is automatically my new favorite. Very personable and someone who I can confide in. Look forward to future visits!

Dr. King was thorough in the tele-appointment and was able to diagnose and treat; I’m already seeing positive results not even 24 hours later!
