I was impressed with how thorough Dr Heaton was when I came in with severe pain in my hip. X-rays were done and I explained that I couldn't take the meds usually prescribed for this type of pain. Dr. Heaton's exam was thorough and he gave me a steroid injection in the painful area which, amazingly, didn't hurt very much. I'm hoping it gives me relief. He also gave me printed instructions for exercises to strengthen my hips, since I won't be in the area to go to PT. All in all, I thought Dr. Heaton was very responsive to my needs.

I took my daughter to see him after she twisted her knee while playing sports. He examined her and said it was a muscle stretch and will be much better in a week. After a week, we went to see him again as her knee was not improving and he reiterated that it was a stretch and would heal on its own. I asked him to request an MRI as she had heard her knee pop and I was worried she had torn her ACL but he said it was not necessary. At my insistence he finally requested an MRI but did not tell insurance that she heard her knee pop so it was denied. I paid out of pocket for an MRI and the report indicated a complete ACL tear. Even after this, Dr. Heaton refused to admit it and said that my daughter must have torn her ACL after our last appointment. This is impossible as she didn't do any physical activity after her injury. On top of this, the doctor's office keeps billing me under the wrong ID which puts them out of network for me. Every time I had to call my insurance and get it corrected.

Dr Heaton is very patient and explains all the different options and takes his time

Visited Dr. Heaton for an IOVERA treatment in anticipation of total knee replacement surgery. Dr. Heaton was very professional and explained the entire process before beginning the treatment. I mentioned that I have a very low tolerance for pain. Dr. Heaton was understanding and he ensured that I understood what was happening every step of the way. He has a great bedside manner. I'll definitely be back before my second knee replacement!

Dr. Heaton did a very thorough post concussion exam to address my reasons for seeing him today.

He was amazing with our four year old son. We were nervous taking our child but, Dr Heaton knew exactly what was going on and his staff was incredibly patient with our child. We would highly recommend Dr. Heaton and the staff.
