Great service.
Very professional safe care
The entire staff at DAmbrosio Eye Care are very professional and courteous while maintaining that familiar small town friendliness. They are all very efficient and excellent at what they do. Dr. Apollonio is very thorough and takes the time to explain what she is doing during the exams what certain tests are intended for and practical knowledge for keeping your eyes healthy in every day life. You can tell she genuinely cares about her profession and her patients eye health. I highly recommend
The man who sells eye glasses you see after. Well if you ask for your prescription he grunts and gives you a dirty look. I heard him talking to a man about lenses costing 700 dollars I saw their frames for 400 bucks on the internet for 120. The female optometrist. She was quite rude to me once. I questioned being over corrected. She shouted at me saying ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SAY OVER CORRECTED ARE USUALLY WRONG... ramble ramble. If you read my review on lense crafters in NH. Youll see why I was worried. The glasses made me dizzy and sick. So she rubbed me wrong. But since then shes been nice. The guy is still grumpy.
Went to the Athol office. First my eyes were dilated and obviously couldnt see. The lady helping me with frames told me with what my plan covered were a very tiny row on the right side of the wall. Those glasses were too small and not my type. I start trying on glasses in the middle section still not seeing anything I liked and cant see the prices on the tags with dilated eyes. Finally at the start of the wall left side I find the pair I like. Then the lady tells me this section is fully covered by my plan. So she already lied once saying the only section covered was was this tiny row on the right side. Then she tells me my lenses are $97.00. Im taken back because I thought my lenses if basic were covered. I thought I read my plan wrong. Was charged $15.00 for eye exam and $97.00 for lenses. As time passes on after the holidays I checked my plan just as I thought basic lenses are fully covered. I call my plan provider to double check I was correct. They call the office to see what was going on. They charged me for two added things to my lenses that not only did I not ask for but that wasnt even mentioned to me. They took advantage of me. First lying about the frames and then adding extras on to my lenses. They had to call as they were still in the process of being made to remake them without the added things I didnt ask for. Im still waiting on my refund. Didnt even get an apology. Then today I went to pick up my glasses the gentleman named Steven was short with me and seemed like he was trying to get me out the door. Not my fault they had to fix the issue. Would not recommend this place whatsoever.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
