Dr. Demelis is all that you would want in an emergency room physician. He diagnosed my urgent situation quickly (in 2 hours) which enabled my rapid emergency surgery. He was patient in explaining my situation even though he had every reason to be tired during my middle-of-the-night visit. Finally, he was very concerned that I not continue in my significant pain and was quick to administer pain relief to me. I appreciate his care.

Dr. Demelis listened carefully to my history and agreed with my own diagnosis (I am medically trained). He acted quite rapidly and achieved the diagnosis within two hours which enabled me to be admitted for the emergency surgery I needed quite quickly. He was very concerned that I not be in undue pain and also gave me pain medication right away. Although I was there in the wee hours of the morning, he explained everything completely. I appreciate his care.

Wonderful, caring and thorough are 3 words I can use to describe Dr Demelis. He definitely found his calling and Sturdy Memorial Hospital should feel very confident in having him as part of their staff!! 5 *S*T*A*R* Doctor!!
