As a new patient at Attleboro Ophthalmological Associates, I was very impressed with the care I received from Dr. Fay and his entire staff, from the receptionists to his helpful associates.

Dr Fay Jr. is a fantastic doctor, though the front desk is atrocious. The reception folks need to place appointments sooner and actually care for patients’ concerns.However it’s not fair that Dr. Fay receive a bad review just because his staff is ridiculously rude and incompetent—I wish him and his father the greatest success for this wonderful clinic.

I have been going to Dr Fay and his dad before since I was 14 years old (40+) and had an emergency. I have never had an issue with the doctors or the staff.

Used to be a good place..but recently had a bad experience with this place, I had new insurance and showed them before service!!..so I pay my co-pay and then have my eye exam..then after the fact..as I'm leaving, they tell me, By the way your Insurance doesn't cover this visit and your going to have to pay for this out of pocket!!!...really..you didn't check my insurance when i handed this to you?? I told you i had new insurance!!! Really..So because the people that work up front are incompetent and didn't check to see if the visit was covered with my new insurance..I'm screwed now..and have to cover everything out of pocket..tried explaining this to them and they don't care!!!Will never go back, won't recommend, there are plenty of other places to go for an Honest Eye Exam...So be cautious with this place!!! Look elsewhere..

Attleboro Ophthalmological Associates174 Pleasant StAtteleboro MaI don't often make my post public but today I am I just went to my eye doctor and had to leave because they were not wearing masks. The staff had their mask under their chin, which you could clearly see because they were behind glass.Multiple patients did not have mask on/masks under their chin. Staff did not enforce patients to wear masks. The doctor himself (Dr. Fay) was walking around with no mask.When I addressed the staff I explained to them I was a RN and tear ducts drain into the respiratory tract. I said so many staff are not masking I need to leave because my son is immune compromised and this is a huge exposure risk.The doctor said that he had the vaccine and therefore did not need to wear his mask. I told him that is not true, multiple outlets including the SURGEON GENERAL said that even with the vaccine ppl will need to wear masks for at least a year until herd immunity is achieved.I went on to say that the majority of their clients are elderly and have comorbidities and they should be ashamed of themselves for their deplorable infection control.The doctor and staff dismissed my concerns and I left. I reported them to the Department of Health and the registration department for opthalmologist and optometrist. I would say anyone who is concerned about their health and has respect proper infection control never visit this place.

Hello, Dr. Fay a true professional,  along with staff, it was a pleasure as well as informative.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fay and his wonderful staff. Again, unfortunately, I needed immediate attention for my eye situation. As with the last (my first) experience, Dr. Fay and his staff made it all happen without a hitch without stress on my part at least and I was promptly directed, accepted by Mass Eye & Ear where I was treated by Dr. Gong. As with my initial visit, I experienced professional, pleasant and experienced treatment and of course safe service with COVID guidelines followed. However, it didn’t stop at this appointment. Dr. Fay called me to follow-up on my visit/outcome at Mass Eye & Ear. I don’t believe I have ever had a doctor call me to see how I’m doing. True human care -- so lacking today. I am so very thankful I am in Dr. Fay’s care. I must shout out thanks to Vision Care in Attleborough, MA for providing me with the referral!

This office said they accepted my insurance. The optmoligist performed the work on my son. They sent me a bill and said they do not accept my insurance. Horrible People stay clear of these scam artists. Thanks doctor for the correction. I do have the right criminal. Read my last

I made an appt. months ago to see Dr. Fay...when I got there, I was told he took the day off...no one from the office called to tell me......so I saw his assistant Abby........I have been going there for years......so I was disappointed......
