Sturdy Memorial Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

Teach your receptionist customer service skills! Pregnant & sick, & looking for care yet cant even be greeted properly. & I’m supposed to trust you with my health care. Foh!

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you and write a review of how impressed I am with the staff at Sturdy Memorial Urgent Care Attleboro! I am 20 weeks pregnant and have been battling a nasty upper respiratory infection, so yesterday when I started with a nasty ear infection, I called to explain my symptoms. The nurse practitioner, Nicole Oksanish, suggested nasal decongestants, which with my long history of ear troubles I knew wasn't enough, but understood her hands were tied with me being pregnant. When I started with severe pain in that ear, I called my OBGYNs office who told me to contact my primary care or go to the hospital, and as I was getting ready to just get ready for a long day at the hospital for an ear infection, Nicole called me back and told me she talked to a few of her colleagues and they were all in agreement that Amoxicillin is pretty. I safe in pregnancy! She told me she felt bad she couldn't do more with the first call and knew I was disappointed, so decided to get some second opinions! This is medicine at its best! This is true advocacy for your patient! I am so beyond grateful for someone to take the time and truly think what would be best and not just prescribe medication and move on to the next knowing that it might not be the best treatment for the patient! All the staff at this facility are attentive and truly care about their patient's well being! Thank you for all that you do...I am beyond grateful for all that you do for your patients and the community! I would recommend this facility to anyone!

I broke my hand due to a freak accident involving my cat startling me in 6/2020. The Registered nurses and then the DOCTOR inquired why there was one prick which ended up being my bone sticking out; and asked if the domestic house cat whom I stated startled me and I then had my injury to my hand by my own stupidity. They literally wouldn't stop asking if my once again domestic house cat bit me and I can tell the truth.. lol I said first off why would I lie I just told you an embarrassing story about how my cat scared me a grown ass man while I was working on something and then accidentally had an accident which broke my hand. Do you think I own a cougar I said? I also added I am no doctor sirs n madams but however I am smart enough to know that a domestic house cat is incapable of breaking a males hand who is of larger stature. That's literally the difference between a domestic house cat and a wild cat. Needless to say I left for Rhode island Hospital after that idiotic comment and told the Doctors there and they called sturdy a veterinarian clinic.

I needed to get a Covid test, on a Sunday. I tried several places with no success. Called this Sturdy Clinic and I was handled by a helpful upbeat person, I was assigned a time for a video appointment with a doctor. The video link failed, my side or theirs , who knows, I just figured I was back to base one. My phone rings it's the doctor, wow, he asked me several questions and gave me an appointment to get tested. Showed up at the assigned time waited less than ten minutes was given the test by a polite nurse and told I would get the results in three to five days. On the third day the doctor called with my results, negative, yes! I told my daughter how impressed I was with the good service I received, she responded that they did what they were expected to do. She was right, but my point is this, in these times, what was once normal professional service is now exceptional care. I thank Sturdy for their courteous and professional service.

Helpful, friendly staff. Standard of care seems lower than I'd expect, given my recent experience and the lack of effective or helpful communication b/t rotating providers. Beware of leaving without covering your bases, regardless of what you're told.

My son had injured his ankle a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. They were great! Called & made an appointment, we were brought in on time and the Doctor and male nurse were both incredibly nice and actually cared and explained everything we needed to know. Hightly recomend!

I went in for a severe knee injury with the. Got infected. Going back I believe 3 times . This is by far the best urgent care. Great staff clean usually a short wait. This is the only urgent care I would go to. The best. I returned on 1/7/20 for my right elbow and arm were painful purple and swollen I seen Scott one of the PA's. Determined it was bursitis and treatment plan.in and out in 15 minutes . Great knowledgeable staff

Receptionists and nurse kind, caring and helpful Dr. Cordelo(?) rude and decietful: I was in the middle of uploading photos for my childrens' Christmas gifts when she walked in. I gave her the respect I felt she deserved but it was obviously not enough for her; when I took a glance at the phone to make sure my prior work was being saved, she condescendingly scolded me. She said my rapid strep was negative and to that I have a viral pharyngitis. She said to sit and wait for paperwork. I waited a couple minutes then decided to leave. She was at the nurses' station and scolded me again. I said, well, if I am just waiting for a handout on viral infections, I think I'm OK (would like to get back to work). She said, no, that she was waiting for the strep result (that she told me was negative????). I asked how long was left and she said "about a minute." What does that mean? Do they not us a timer? Just guess? Of course, she wanted me back in the room... That was clear. I waited "about a minute" and the nurse (a normal person) said there might be a faint line so to be mindful while waiting for the culture result. Thank you to the support staff, wish I could write a separate review for them.

They refused me medical care ... I called ahead and told them that i needed some tests done and they said it was fine, then i got there and they were telling me that they couldnt do the test and Dr. Anderson was smiling and laughing in my face as i was telling him about it.
