Elizabeth Burba-Dick's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Burba saw my son while his primary PCP was OOO that day and Dr.Burba was on call. She did not seem to really care and was only focused on getting us out of the door and follow up with his PCP. While we were going to do that anyway, as a pediatrician, I would expect her to have empathy and ask more questions before prescribing any medication.

Best doctor I’ve ever seen. Takes as much time necessary to go through everything on your form, ask important details about your life, be personable and conversational, explains everything in detail so you understand. She is also the one who calls me personally about results of testing, makes sure I have an understanding and can reach out if I need her. There are no cons I could ask her to improve on. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor from my youth to young adulthood.

I highly recommend Dr. Burba. I have been a patient of hers for the past 10+ years. Before her, I had 3 other doctors who were mediocre. I’ve visited other doctors since moving on, and no one compares. She is extremely attentive, patient, caring, and personable. She made me feel extremely comfortable after the first visit which is the most important thing to me. Being honest with your doctor is important. I also absolutely need hate needles and she does the best job to make sure I am ok.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Burba for years. She always listens to what you have to say and takes the time to answer all questions. I like that she speaks directly to the child and makes them feel very comfortable. I have recommended her to my family and friends.

We have been taking our daughter to Woburn Pediatrics since she was born. Dr. Burba has always been her pediatrician and we never had an issue until our daughter was in distress and we needed assistance for referrals. I would expect that after two phone calls and asking to speak with my daughter's physican on a very particular and out of the norm situation for her, that she would have called and follow-up with us. To no avail. Very disappointed in this and am now looking for a doctor who cares about her patients, rather than leaves the referrals to others. A doctor should always call to see why a parent needs such a referral and would request to see her patient for observation and some basic blood tests that could rule out other medical causes for behavior. Shame on you for not caring enough to pick up a bloody phone!

I didn't find this doctor to be that compassionate.

Dr. Burba continues to impress me. She cares about her patients and follows through to ensure that they are getting the best care. She is also a great advocate for her patients with outside specialists. I trust her completely with the care of my children.
