My experience was quite positive with Dr. DiChiara. He was able to tell me what was wrong with the treatment I received from another OB/GYN and recommend specialists in Boston who were most qualified to give me further assistance and the necessary surgery. My only concern was that the system for doctors to access information from other doctors doesn't seem up-to-date or used. Other people in the office were helpful, except for being willing to fax my personal information to another physician.

He didn't seem concerned about the pain I was experiencing. I think he lacks the compassion for his patients that is so important for a gynechologist. I would not recommend him.

Dr.DiChiara is absolutely the best OBGYN I have ever had the privilege of taking care of me. He delivered all of my children and I now encourage all of my daughters to use him. He always takes the time to explain everything he is doing and fully answers any questions that we may have. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've come into contact with by far!!!

Won't be back. Have seen other doctors in this practicer, and I was not impressed with his bedside manner, and getting brushed off. I also always request medical records after a visit, and was shocked to read that he wrote I did not understand his explanation of something--when I clearly understood, but asked several questions and probably took up his time. I will not see the person again and have told my PCP do not refer me to him again.

I saw Dr. DiChiara when my gyn was unavailable. Dr. DiChiara was helpful and knowledgeable. These traits are of course invalable in a gyn but it also helps to be congenial. He was nice enough but lacked the ability to put me at ease, especially not having met him before.
