Alena Ashenberg's Online Review Report Card

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Ashenberg since she was 3 days old. I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. While pregnant, I did extensive research about which pediatrician to use as I wanted them to be associated with Boston Children's Hospital. I have no regrets about this decision as I am more than satisfied with the care my daughter is receiving. Anytime I have a question I can call the office or write a message in their health portal. I have made numerous same day sick appointments and have never had an issue getting my daughter seen. I also feel as though she is being well looked after and completely trust the staff. I 100% recommend this practice and will continue taking my daughter here

Dr. Ashenberg and her office are fantastic. I feel that my children are receiving the best care. She takes the time to explain things and always follows up. I had mastitis with my first child and she would call to check on how my newborn was adjusting to having formula and to check on how I was doing!

We were so lucky to have had Dr. Ashenberg recommended to us by a friend who is a critical care nurse at Children's Hospital in Boston. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the time Dr. Ashenberg takes to listen, understand, and develop a relationship. Our son is 2.5, so has had several well visits in that time and we never ever felt rushed along as with most primary care doctors. Dr. Ashenberg took exceptionally respectful care of our son. Our family recently moved closer to Boston and we cannot imagine finding another provider like her!

Dr. Ashenberg and her staff are great. We’ve been bringing our baby girl for a year now. We’ve always gotten quick responses to after-hours calls and the office is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Highly recommend!

My family and I have had the great pleasure of experiencing pediatric care with Dr. Ashenberg for the past three years. When moving to the area from out-of-state I found it important to find a caring, attentive doctor who was also connected with Children’s Hospital and we found all of that and more. Dr. Ashenberg gives us her full attention and extended amount of time during visits (and is always able to accommodate our schedule). She calls us back after hours and on the weekends when we call with concerns, and she has truly treated us like family. We welcomed our second child during our time with her and she has been great through all of the newborn and infant care, even in a pandemic. I would highly recommend Dr. Ashenberg and am thankful we have been able to be in her care.

I’ve been going to Alena my whole life and have no complaints! She’s always helped me with any problems I have. You can tell she’s very educated in her practice and is sure to help with whatever you need.

Dr. Ashenberg is a fabulous pediatrician who cares about her patients. She answers all of our questions and calls to check in after follow ups. The office staff is accommodating and appointments are easy to schedule.

Dr. Ashenberg is a caring pediatrician who is very knowledgeable. She takes time to answer questions and her office is very accommodating. My son enjoys going to the doctor! We’ve been a patient for four years and can’t say enough good things.

Our insurance changed and I was forced to find a new doctor for my children. I was mortified after a 2nd visit with this Doctor. She is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and CONDESCENDING. We did not agree on something since the first visit. She continued to push. I told her to stop she was disrespecting my parenting. She then told my kids I was wrong. I had to literally stand up and say to my kids lets go this is not the right doctor for us. I wish I could give her zero stars. We have not been back. They also refused to send my childs medical records. That they were supposed to make copies of my originals.

Dr. Ashenberg has been our family pediatrician for over 20 years. She always provides nothing less then excellent healthcare. She's a kind caring doctor who takes the time to get to know her patients. She listens to their concerns and always provides sound advice and treatment. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.
