Dr. Bousvaros is absolutely wonderful! So kind and compassionate and really listens to his patients. I feel we were blessed when we found him and we are confident that he always has our son's best interests at heart. Truly the best doctor we have ever encountered.

I feel the exact same way as the last review! I brought him all my daughters tests that had been done. My daughter started stomach pain 8 months ago and is now worse, with other symptoms! He will not run any other tests and won't listen to me as a mother. It was tough to get MY thoughts in because he already gave his final thoughts and wouldn't listen"she needs to have therapy to manage her chronic pain!" Here's a thought, how about find the reason she's in pain!! I left crying with no hope.

If I could give zero starts, I would. We traveled from Az, desperate for an answer for our ill daughter. He promised to take an unbiased approach, admitting her for 5 days. Forgotten was the unbiased approach. All that was done was to review outside scans from months before, all of which he has before our arrival. Nothing but blood tests were perormed. Albeit, all abnormal, I didn't find out until I returned home, accessing her chart remotely. we experienced nothing but hostility and judgement

Horrible. Worst experience of our lives. My husband will not even permit ANY discussion of BCH. We were sent there by our specialist in Az. Promised an "unibiased approach." She was admitted for 5 days, while they did nothing. The team merely reviewed her records, perforned only blood tests, which were abnormal. They were never discusssed, never. I found them on the patient portal. We are now $4,000 more in the hole, and emotionally completely distraught about our experience there. DO NOT SEE ATHOS BUSVAROUS, worst Doctor ever

Dr Ab has treated my child since Ricky was 7 yrs old. The Drs who treated him by that time did not seem to have a true commitment of healing the whole boy. These pediatricians , among other specialist did not take in the most valuable information available, aside from all the studies and lab works, that is the intuition of a mother that spoke clearly, that Ricky seemed to be fading, leaving (yes!! His lethargic body! American Airlines was our best choice! Today Ricky is 21, studying architecture and living his life with optimism and hope! Dr Bousvaros broad knowledge, committment an empathy has made a difference in my families life! When Ricky was 10, during an appointment, Ricky grabbed me and hugged me as he was whispering, thank you for bringing me w Dr AB.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Bousvaros for several years for a chronic condition. He is a very kind and caring man, and a very competent doctor. I would definitely recommend him if your child needs to see a pediatric gastroenterologist. He has a great bedside manner with the kids, speaking to them and making sure they have a chance to be heard as well as then seeking more information from the parents.

I agree with first poster, this Dr is amazing. To say he he will not change a diagnoses is hog wash. He will NOT give your a child a diagnoses based on what the parents think it should be, he bases it off your child's medical issues. This Dr would also never mistreat a child. Shame on you for bashing such a well known and caring dr. because you did not get the answer you were looking for.

This man uses records he knows are falisified to misdiagnose your child and will not change the misdiagnosis. He will mistreat your child. Go to Dartmouth, Dr. Edwards will help you.

Dr Bousvaros is the only dr that I will allow to touch my child. We can to Children's from being at MGH where surgery's were done that should not have been done and caused damage. Dr B took my child under his wing and made sure every dr that saw him or treated him when he was inpt knew how my child should be treated. 2 years later, he is there for us day or night when something goes on. He is a very busy and well known dr, and everytime we call him or see him, he treats us as if we are his only pt.
