The scheduling guy this morning is so rude. He speaks too fast that I could barely understand and he's raising his voice towards me. I was just asking for the dermatologist's name and the exact date. I hope he gets some retraining with communication. I don't know if he is having a rough day but he also ruins my day this morning.
This practice could not be more unpleasant to deal with. My husband’s firm changed insurance providers three days before an appointment I had waited for for 9 months. I told the receptionist who called to confirm my appointment about this, and she said I just needed to update to the new insurance in my patient gateway account before showing up for the appointment. I updated the information in my account as instructed, and it appeared as “change pending” but with the new policy information visible in my account. I arrived for my appointment, and the person at the desk said I had no insurance on file and was clearly annoyed by this. I showed her that the new policy was visible in my patient gateway and explained that I had just updated it a few days before (because I had just moved to the new policy three days prior). She said she could not check me in for my appointment until I updated the insurance by phone at a phone number she provided. I sat in the waiting room and called the number, but there was no option given on that line to update insurance - the recording simply said to use patient gateway online to update insurance information. I went back to the desk and told the receptionist that there was no way to update the insurance via the phone number she provided. At this point, she was clearly irritated and said the only option then was to have me pay out of pocket for the appointment, and I said that worked for me. She then looked at the clock and said it was more than 10 minutes past my appointment time (because we had spent that time trying to sort out the insurance despite my having updated it as instructed online) and said she wasn’t sure the doctor would still be willing to see me. She then called someone else over to complain that it was almost 15 minutes past my appointment time and I was trying to still be seen. I said never mind and left. This individual could not have been more unhelpful or rude. She was in a bad mood before I arrived and took that out on me. I had done everything I was told to do about the unfortunate timing of my insurance change, and the slowness of patient gateway to process insurance information (which another employee at the check in desk said is an issue) is not my fault. I also agreed to pay out of pocket for the appointment and was happy to do that, and I was still essentially turned away for being late even though I was not actually late. If you are looking to be met with rude and unhelpful people, this is the practice for you; if this is not what you desire to experience, then go elsewhere.
Terrible experience from start to finish. This place is a complete disaster. I have absolutely no hope that it will ever improve because the problems run deep at every level. The doctor ignores emails completely, and instead a nurse responded — and even lied to me, saying the prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. I checked multiple times over two weeks, and nothing was ever sent. I kept emailing back and forth, but the level of efficiency is zero. They wasted my time, energy, and patience. The front desk is just as bad. They never answer the phones. I literally had to make my phone number invisible for someone to finally pick up — which says a lot about how they treat patients. The manager is no help either, acting more like a defense attorney than someone trying to fix issues. The clinic itself is poorly maintained. They use cheap, thin paper on the exam beds that tears easily, leaving skin exposed where countless other patients have been examined — a major hygiene concern. Staff wear random street clothes, no name tags, no white coats — you can’t even tell who’s medical staff and who’s not. It’s unprofessional and unsanitary. I strongly warn anyone considering this place: do not go here. It’s a complete waste of time and a health risk.
Wait 6 months for an appointment, only to have them cancel on you the day before because they screwed up and double booked the appointment. Then make you wait nearly a month to go to a different clinic rather than fix their mistake. Mistakes like these shouldn't be acceptable in healthcare.
My husband was sick and out of Boston for 3 years, which resulted in taking all our family out of the patients list. What a horrible attitude. Shame on you! ( it is not zero starts because the physician we had dr. V. was wonderful. No more, as she REFUSED to accept sick patients back) OMG
Practice purposefully makes patients come in for two visits that could easily completed in one visit. This allows for several hundreds of dollars more to be billed for the consultation and hospital location before ultimately billing for the service provided on a second date.
Got a surprise bill for removing a small mole, $1,200! Outrageous! Pretend to be an out patient clinic then shock you with oversized hospital based overhead prices! Talented dermatologists but hospital overhead ridiculously expensive
The care I have been getting here the last 2 years has been great! Dr. Arash and his team are awesome! Another bonus is they have skin care samples of various products and lines along with coupons at checkout for patients to take if they want. I'm not sure why there's all these bad reviews.
Absolutely terrible communication. Over 7 months, I could not reach the office line and was on hold several times without being able to speak to anyone despite calling during their office hours. Left several voicemails. I never received a call back. I finally was able to reach the office and was told that they are scheduling appointments 9 MONTHS out. I understand specialists have long waits for new patients, however, it is completely unacceptable that they do not communicate or schedule with patients in a timely manner. It is completely unreasonable that it took me 7 months to reach anyone in the office and then was told I would have to wait 9 months for an appointment.
Parking is difficult but they have a garage close by . The staff is super friendly. Good quality care .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
