The thing that most impressed me most about Dr. Duncan was the first time we met him when he took the time to introduce himself to Our family and then included our 2 year old son and turned him and said, “Hi, I’m Dr. Duncan.” (Our son wasn’t the patient). It felt above and beyond, especially after a really trying few months being sprung into life with a baby who was NG dependent and no one knew yet what was “wrong” at a hospital where we had had poor experience after poor experience. Dr. Duncan was a breath of fresh air and has never once made us feel unheard, belittled or like we aren’t the experts on our child. He’s looked at her as a whole person who is part of a family and not just a set of lungs with a GI tract, which is refreshing and much needed. He’s spoken with us on numerous occasions about our concerns, he’s worked hard to build our trust after really difficult experiences with previous providers and we are forever grateful.
