Our son just had a ganglion cycst removed by Dr. Bae , he was amazing. Surgery went so well, staff at Boston children's in Waltham were fantastic and supportive. Dr. Bae was supportive of our Son as an athlete and our concerns while giving us all the information need to make the right medical decision. If I could give him more stars I would!

We just had our first appointment with Dr Bae. No wait time. Dr was awesome. Five stars so far

Horrible bad side manner. Multiple times referred to my daughter as he in his notes. Never returned multiple emails

I have had problems with my shoulder for many years. Dr. Bae was the only doctor to really help me. He truly cares about his patients and does what is best for recovery. Eventually, I got to the point where surgery was best, but my dad was on the fence. Dr. Bae took the time to schedule an appointment that week to meet with me and my parents. He explained exactly what was wrong with my shoulder, why he honestly believed surgery was the best option and exactly what he would do in the surgery.

“This was the best team of medical staff I have been around in a long time. I would love to have them around if I ever get sick or h again. The Doctor had been busy but still took the time to make me feel like I was the only patient there. Besides other doctors i felt like Dr Bae were caring and concerned, friendly while maintaining professional and efficient standards of service. I was so very thankful for the excellent care I received while my stay at the Salem hospital. Thank you so much!

Dr. Bae is very kind, compassionate, funny, charismatic, intelligent, and just a total down to earth bro. I 110% trust his ability to diagnose me, explain to me the diagnosis, and go over the pros and cons of all the different treatment options. When he and I decided that surgery was the best course of action on both my elbows, I had full confidence in his decision and ability as an outstanding surgeon. I had my left elbow done on October 6, 2015, and my right elbow done on February 2, 2015.

Dr. Bae is an incredible doctor and orthopedic surgeon. He is kind, compassionate, intelligent, funny, and easy to talk to. He's a real down to earth bro, and I had full confidence in his ability to accurately diagnose me. He carefully listened to me, then thoroughly explained the pathology of my condition and the pros and cons of each treatment option. When him and I decided that surgery was the best course of action for both my elbows, I had 110% confidence in his decision making as well as his skill as a surgeon. You are in excellent hands with Dr. Bae.

Dr. Bae is easily the best doctor that I have ever been to (and I have seen a lot of doctors). He is brilliant with his work. He explains everything very thoroughly and makes sure the you & your family clearly understand the injury and the options for fixing the problem. I had a wrist injury that was ongoing for a couple years which involved a very difficult procedure. I did extensive research to find the best hand surgeon in the area and Doctor Bae had great reviews and many people referred me to him. He lived up to all the hype. Aside from being extremely intellegent & skilled for his profession, he is a down to earth man who you can trust. Like someone previously posted, I felt blessed to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Bae is not only intelligent but he has extremely good bedside manner and he knows what he is doing. He explains things thoroughly and he does great work. He is perhaps the only dr I trust now, and he goes well beyond his duties as a surgeon. Not only did he help us to understand my daughter's injury and speak to her and I in a civilized and patient manner, but he was able to do a very difficult procedure successfully - when the chances of it not working were high. Dr. Bae is one of a kind and if you are so lucky as to have him as a surgeon, consider yourself blessed! Nobody is a miracle worker but Dr. Bae comes very close. Not only is he admirable but he cares for all of his patients and he does the best job for all. I was fortunate to get other parents' opinions about him before we saw him, and all of them said the same thing. He's excellent.

Yes, the wait time is ridiculous. We have seen doctor Bae on three different injury occasions from a simple broken bone to a complicated surgical hand fix (that another said could not be done). He is simply the best! He is not warm, but he will explain and illustrate, and every parent and patient is fully aware of the anatomy, injury, and process for fixing. I prize this more that sweet words. Dr. Bae reads his email, and is a prompt responder.
