We love Dr. Bresnahan. My son has been a patient for a few years. Dr. Bresnahan absolutely understands child development and gets the subtleties that not everyone picks up on. She has a way of communicating with my son directly so she can see how he is really doing. She has been instrumental in helping us get services at school, getting my son on the right medication (albeit a last resort) and guiding us as parents on how to manage things at home and in social situations.

Very thorough, competent and caring. Engages my son with autism in conversation. Presents treatment options, with possible side effects. We never feel rushed.

No doubt she's booksmart. Not a clue on how a mom feels. Very good at writing letters.Isn't quite sure of herslf as a Dr. Have had residents who did more. Almost pasive with male Drs. (begged and peaded for in patient at Franciscan no luck) Three month wait, no avail. Does let you vent somewhat. Have heard from male Drs very passive amd meek. Is not available during a crisis. I f she goes on vacationor even before very negligent. Nice person but, very,very insecure.
