Provided excellent care for my daughter. So grateful for her and her amazing team.
She’s amazing.... we came from Atlanta to see her she will definitely be back in the future because she’s worth it!
Dr. Baird is an amazing Neurosurgeon who is both confident and caring. She treated our son at 7 months old for Hydrocephalus and performed a Endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) that has been successful in draining fluid for two years and nine months. She was thorough in explaining the surgery and in what we were looking at at every follow up we had with her until her departure to Boston from Portland. She is greatly missed. She saved our sons life the day she performed his ETV.
My 10 year old son has been a patient for 20 months - he has had 9 brain surgeries - all by Dr. Baird - He calls her "Wonder Woman" - need I say more.

Dr Baird was amazing. I had been suffering frow arm numbness for around 4 months. The first doctor I went to said I pulled a ligament and to wait about 8 weeks and if it doesn't go away then I will go to physical Therapy. 8 weeks later I still had arm numbness so wanting a second opinion we went to an orthopedist, she had scheduled me for an MRI. After the MRI (which was a couple days later) 20 minutes after the MRI we got a phone call saying hat we would need a CT scan. And immediately after that we were sent to doctor Baird. She was amazing she explained to me that I had broken my 2nd vertebrae and basically had a free floating bone. ( aka. Os Odontodeum) that had given me a contusion on my spinal cord. I had surgery within 2 weeks having my 1st and 2nd bone fused together. Doctor Baird visited me every day she worked , she cleared up my spinal cord and was very thorough. I am only 14 years old which she said she never sees this happen in a 14 year old. She will answer any phone call you have and will take necessary precautions if needs be. Dr Baird saved my life (she said I should've been paralyzed) you won't regret going to her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
