She is the best!

drove over an hour to have a 15 minute session that included her just putting drops in my eyes and re-checking the pressure which her assistant already did prior to that... She didn't listen to anything I said just laughed it over and breezed through it to keep insisting I needed glasses which I've been checked for 100 times and don't... any doctor who relies on the letter reading test to assess your vision fully just... run... I am suffering from my lid covering my vision badly, to the point that people think I had a stroke or something because one lid is severely smaller than the other and this lady wants to tell me there's no way a droopy lid can affect visual field... left the office with no type of answer and she kept brushing me off even until the end she asked if i was happy with the plan she had which was to be checked for glaucoma (i'm in my twenties) and as I was about to respond she cut me off and went "Cause that's what the plan is going to be, good now let me walk you out"

She spent 15 minutes max with me, kept interrupting and declining the symptoms I was telling her I'm experiencing.. drove over an hour to see her based on her reviews, I wanted to trust her but in the end she didn't help at all.. her solution was to tell me to get reading glasses which I tried to explain I was tested for already over 100 times and do not need them.. she just kept insisting my obvious ptosis and pain in one eyeball along with headaches and drooping eyebrow is just a problem that reading glasses can fix! I really don't understand how these doctors don't have lawsuits against them.. I wouldn't recommend her at all and it was pretty obvious why only very old people were going to see her (people 70+)

I went to this doctor for an infection that was diagnosed in the ER, and 3 doctors agreed that I had the infection and that my symptoms were conclusive with the diagnosis. The first thing the doctor asked me was "How did you end up here?" as if I was not supposed to be there. Also, the doctor basically insinuated that I was lying about my symptoms. It was my first visit with the doctor, and I was not lying about my symptoms. My guess is that she was unhappy that I got an appointment with her because I did not need surgery at the current time. Perhaps she only wants to see patients with more major problems. I did not request to see this specific doctor. That's who was recommended to me when I called the office to make an appt with an Ophthalmologist.

Dr. Iwamoto is amazing. I had a birthmark under my eye for 18 years that had people asking if I had a black eye or smudged makeup. Not only did Dr. Iwamoto remove this birthmark for me, but there is not even a scar or evidence it was ever there.

She is a fantastic doctor!!! She takes the time to talk and explain the procedure being done. She goes above and beyond to answer all your questions!!!! You will be in good hands!!

I am so grateful to have crossed path with doctor Iwamoto. After two unsuccessful surgeries with a different plastic surgeon I went to doctor Iwamoto and she not only fixed the eyelid issue caused by the first two surgeries she made my eyes perfect! Long wait, short appointment, no interest in solving problem, massive bill for no service and no suggestion for a solution, Never going back!

My procedure was delayed for two years due to my inability to obtain a ride to and from procedure, also, I became ill, and going through a divorce!! I was treated with competence and overall compassion from my first visit. My Ophthalmologist urged me to have my eye-lid Surgery preformed as my condition was deteriorating. My rating for ease of appointment and promptness is less than 5 due to Dr. Iwamoto's availability and demand, in addition, she and her staff are sometimes delayed due to individual patient attention and care. On the day of my procedure, I no sooner filled out my admitting forms, as the Doctor and her staff were available to begin the procedure. At all times, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect by Dr. Iwamoto and her staff. I was fully informed of all aspects of the procedure!! I could not have expected anything more!!
