Peter Rapoza's Online Review Report Card

I have read some fair but not great review for Dr. Rapoza. He was absolutely great for me - the entire experience of 2 lens replacements was great- he called me for follow up and my eye sight is very good. I am going on 2 years now. I would not be guided by a 2 or 1 3 rating - reminds me of the 1980s and the east European judges in the Olympics- there are other reasons at play here I think/ More follow-up- Dec 2023. No issues my eyes are great.

Very satisfied with patient care from Dr. Rapoza and his staff. All were friendly, efficient but not rushing, knowledgeable, great at answering questions (both technical and about advice for next steps), and all seemed genuinely interested in making me feel comfortable. Every piece of equipment carefully swabbed down in my presence, which I appreciated. Highest recommendation!

Schedule took some time. Surgery went well. Follow-ups were straight forward (some ran late). Great results. Eyes were working well (with no discoloration) within 2 weeks.

Dr. Rapoza was absolutely wonderful . He answered all of my questions and explained everything so clearly. I had cataract surgery in both eyes and I am completely satisfied.

Both my wife and me are patients of Dr. Rapoza. Being as old as I am I have had many experiences with Doctors. With the exception of Dr. Flier, I have never had a better experience with anyone then Dr. Rapoza. HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!

Dr Rapoza is very capable, caring and kind. My cataract surgery was successful and my vision was immediately improved. I appreciated him not pushing expensive lenses that I did not need but that another practice advocated. The waiting time at OCB is at least an hour but that is not Dr Rapoza’s fault, its OCB and their scheduling department. I would give more than 5 stars if I could

Dr. Rapoza did my LASIK surgery 26 (!) years ago. It was life changing. An EXCELLENT surgeon.

Highly recommend Dr. Rapoza. Excellent doctor as well as surgeon. Cares very highly for his patients. He is easy to talk with and helps you when you need him. He has an excellent bedside manner. He takes time with you as well as takes everything you say seriously. He respects his patients. I have had 6-8 surgeries with him and he makes you feel comfortable as he is doing the surgery

I am a patient if Dr. Rapoza's for Fuchs dystrophy. He did a successful DMEK procedure on my right eye. Left eye scheduled soon. I'm very happy with the results and the way I was treated.

I had a lasik consult with him last week. The wait time to be seen was an hour and fifteen minutes and was told by the assistant that’s a normal thing there. I didn’t have anything else in my schedule so I waited patiently. The doctor Seems like a nice doctor overall. His assistant was extremely nice and friendly but the thing I was confused about was that his assistant did a lot of the general testing such as the Snellen (E) chart that the doctor normally does. I also felt as if she rushed through it. After the doctor examined me he said I had to come back in a year which I found crazy. He said he wanted to see if my vision changed and also that I have an astigmatism and that if nothing changed that he’d be happy to do the surgery. I’ve never heard of any provider doing this. I’m thirty years old and my vision hasn’t changed all that much. I didn’t like the explanation he gave me so I have another consult with another provider for a second opinion. He’s not a bad doctor, I just felt rushed in the visit and didn’t really like the outcome of it either.
