Would you rather? Have low testosterone or risk catching HIV and HEPC? Let me rephrase, most people do not know about the HIV/HEPC risk of medications purchased online, so their question is, "Would you rather suffer from low testosterone, or simply buy extra online?" What Dr. Knapp does is prescribe too little testosterone to FTM patients. The result is that testosterone is very easy to get online right now, but it is not always pure, sometimes contaminated with HIV, HEPC, and other illnesses. The logical remedy to many, is to take the prescription and purchase extra online. Sounds better than osteoporosis, an inability to be awake and alert, having a reduced immune system, and other symptoms of low testosterone, right? Well the surprise that some people using clean needles never expect, is HIV, etc. Some people feel "set up" in this way. We are already a stigmatized minority group. No, we are not hypersexual, or prostitutes, but often abused or neglected.
Unhelpful.
If there is a problem with my insurance or a contraindication to medical care, Dr. Knapp needs to tell the patients so the patient can fix the problem. Medicare does cover transgender care. Medical records are often in need of correction. Never ever withdraw important medical help without being HONEST with the patient first. Dr. Knapp lies to patients with these problems saying that everything is fine, and then he just starts prescribing fake prescriptions and quits providing genuine care. Dr. Knapp needs to take his patients well being seriously. My next issue is that Dr. Knapp has chosen to share a building with a tuberculosis clinic and therefore with tuberculosis patients. HIV is a major problem in this city with transgender patients, and people (and animals/pets) with both HIV and tuberculosis do not do well per my understanding. Dr. Knapp needs to move out and stop lying. I think that Dr. Knapp is too weak or fearful to tell the truth when he knows that it is bad news. My advice, toughen up and do what is right. Never lie!
40 years old and still have not undergone puberty. Saw Dr. Knapp for over 6 months with no results at all. He cannot make himself available on a frequent or regular basis. Waited over 3 months for appointments when unable to even stay awake due to low endocrine levels.
Dr. Knapp provided no information as to ALL that could possible explain the fact that I lost 2 inches in height in the last 2 years, I have insominia, lack of energy, hair loss, loss of muscle mass. His answer to these issue and my chronic fatigue was to offer viagra as a solution. In the past, after a 6 week protocol of testosterone, I felt invigorated and more alert. when I stopped the protocol, I felt very bad again. This might lead one to think that some sort of hormone treatment and NOT viagra would help in some way. I felt he wasted valuable time by not looking at ALL possibilities. This man thgouht I just wanted to have sex. MY INTENTION IN SEEING HIM WAS TO FEEL BETTER AND GET WELL. He did nothing to assist in that process. Not one offer to consider what I had told him. I believe he is a poor example of a good doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
