I am livid. I was told by the lady at the front desk that I would not have to pay anything out of pocket; I brought my insurance information with me and she said that she would verify what my out of pocket cost would be as I was filling out paperwork. She told me that the xray cost would be 100% covered by my insurance (as my insurance says), and that they even double checked with my insurance company. I was also told that I would not have to pay anything out of pocket for the visit itself. I get three bills in the mail, one for the visit, one for an xray that turned out to be a CT scan which is totally unnecessary for examining teeth, and one for Dr. Afshar to READ the xray. I tried contacting the front desk and they say that it's beyond their hands at this point, points me to the business department of the hospital, which told me that this can only be resolved at Dr Afshar's office. Whoever is hired at the front desk, please don't listen to them. I'd urge you to go elsewhere, where the front-desk people don't lie to your face or have no idea what they are doing. Do not come here; you'll be elegantly scammed.
