Steven Ugent's Online Review Report Card

My experiences with Dr. Ugent were really good. My first one was a consult on two spots for potential skin cancer. One turned out to be precancerous and he treated it right then and there. Then he took an area from another spot and sent it for a biopsy. He went over everything about after care. It turned out to be cancer and he called and was very kind. Explaining everything that needed to be done. My next visit was for the procedure to remove the skin cancer. He went over my options again in case I changed my mind. Then he did the procedure. Explained everything that I needed to do for after care. Told me to call with any questions. His office staff was great. I love the nurse I saw at my appointments she was fantastic and quite funny. The ONLY drawback I found was the phone system. It's nearly impossible to get a hold of a person. You have to leave a message and wait for a call back. I wish they could change that.

Kind, compassionate, smart, knowledgeable, tells the truth, explains things at your level of understanding, and keeps promises! What more can you ask for?

Nice staff members at the office but I was very disappointed about the dr, he made me feel that questions are not very welcome, he was so brief, answering yes/no. Big disappointment.

I went to Dr. Ugent for a growth on my nose. He was thorough and scanned my entire body. He was also a good listener. When you go to a doctor you look for expertise, not a best friend. He is very qualified and that is what you want. He also runs on time and his staff is great.

I have seen Dr Ugent for a number of yrs...thru 3 cancers..he is kind, friendly, & always has time 4 my concerns..I would recommend him w/out reservation

Went to a multitude of Dermatologists with psoriasis and they all did the same thing... gave me a topical and sent me down the road. It did not work, for nearly 20 years! I had it covering my arms, back, stomache, and head. Dr. Ugent told me about my options and possible side effects of all of them and even insisted I think about it before picking what was right for me. Within 1 year I was nearly completely free of psoriasis. I go to my regular check ups and all is good.

Needed a Dermatologist and chose Dr. Ugent at first mainly for the travel convenience at the Foxboro office, and I am glad I did, it is an easy in and out. The office is very professional never waited more than 1o mins before being called. Dr. Ugent is very friendly and explained all options of treatment thoroughly. Those mine were minor I have all the confidence with him. and kept him as my permanent dermatologist,

Dr. Ugent is the worst dermatologist I have ever seen. He has no concern for his patient's well being. I would not recommend to any body. He does not explain anything, simply just requests follow ups and doesn't offer a solution.

was not happy with my experience with this doctor or the facility. It seemed that questions were not welcomed by him. Yes or no answers when there was one. Perhaps he is just very shy and I was mistaking he demeanor. Have had similar procedure done many times for acne rosacea. Was not happy with result. Wrote office but there was no follow up. All in all a bad experience.
