Kind. Brilliant. Compassionate. I was sent to Dr. Wiegand after my routine cataract surgery became anything but routine. I knew immediately that I was in the best possible care. Unfortunately, I only saw him twice as he was just about to leave for his vacation. Fortunately, he passed me along to another equally remarkable doctor in the practice, Dr. Jeffrey Heirer. We are beyond blessed to live in the Boston area and have access to these doctors. People travel from across the globe to seek their expertise.

Saw him today in the Boston office. The process is a bit complex, seeing first a technician, then having a retinal scan, then waiting to see Dr Wiegand. Loved him and his manner. He clearly explained what he saw, provided a model and images, and was supportive.
