List of Munir Ahmed's Reviews
I started seeing Dr Ahmed in 2015. On our 1st visit he pulled up a chair, put his feet up on another chair and we talked about me for almost an hour. I have since moved to Salem, Ma and continue to see Dr Ahmed. I’ve worked in the medical field and I’ll tell you this - Dr. Ahmed listens. My appointments are scheduled for 40 minutes so we have enough time. He’s a wonderful Dr who cares about his patients.
you can never see a doctor, the scheduling staff is awful. The NP and staff don't listen or comprehend.
Dr Ahmed is my husband’s physician and takes very good care of him. He listens to his concerns and is very fortunate to have Dr. Ahmed as his physician.
He is very thorough. He is caring. Communicates well.
I had a physical with him. He listened only cursorily to my concerns and then, without discussion, made appointments on my behalf with a half dozen specialists. I canceled most of these because, using only the half ear he allowed me, he had not really understood the concerns I had voiced, nor the care that I was currently receiving for them. The most benign result of having seen him is that I have now signed up for a new pcp in a different practice.
Doesn't listen or show concern (very dismissive of patient's concerns), long wait time past scheduled appointment time and then rushed through appointment, minimal/poor follow-through from staff. Wasn't even familiar with me or why I was there, even though that's part of the prep that the nurses do for the doctor at Emerald (I should know, as I used to work there) and he's my PCP.
I realized that doctors within Emerald are pressured to see as many patients as possible, but I have never been treated so poorly. Had to wait almost an hour past my appointment time to get in, neither the doctor nor his nurse took the time to listen and both were very dismissive and cold when I voiced my health concerns, I was rushed through my appointment, and he/his staff never followed up with me after they promised me they would.
Late doesnt listen
Difficult to warm to. His practice is more interested in bureaucracy and filling his appointment schedule...of course at a price...than in efficient management of the patient's time in respect to his medical needs. Staff communication is poor at best. Unable clearly to sate what is wanted/required, and one office is singularly unaware of what the "home office" is saying. Emerald Physician's Service does a disservice to it hirelings, including its contract physicians. It puts the doctors frequently on the defensive when patients ask for rational explanations for bureaucratic fiats. I have no idea whether Dr. Amed is a good physician. He has a license and has been practicing for some time. He is qualified. But I would run from anyone associated with his firm, Emerald Physicians Services since they aren't about patient care, but making money for the sole owner.
It was a Hospital confinement situation only.Very impressed by his manner and helpfulness, not to speak of his friendlydisposition!Would recommend him highly to one and all!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
