Today I told my husband that we would be flying home tomorrow night. He responded with a question: "Aren't we at home here?" Basically, I could have stopped writing my review here. The question he asked said more about the Braintree Rehab than a thousand words could have said. My husband is 92 years old. We were vacationing in Cape Code, where he had a heart attack on August 20, 2023. We have been in and out of several hospitals since then. He has Alzheimer's and other health problems. Moving from hospital to hospital, from department to department was very hard on him. Finally, we were referred to the Braintree Rehab, and that turned out to be a game changer. We have been here for almost three weeks. He is doing amazingly well for his age due to the very professional, caring, patient, and courteous staff. I stay with my husband 24/7 because he needs constant supervision due to his Alzheimer's disease. He has also lost his ability to speak English. He speaks his native Russian to the doctors, nurses and physical therapists. It has been a real blessing that there is a special Russian-speaking nursing and rehabilitation facility here, an entire floor dedicated to Russian-speaking elderly. My husband was a patient in this facility. It is very touching that many American workers here have learned some Russian to make their patients more comfortable. I would like to add that I was only my husband's companion, but I was treated here as a welcome guest, with the same respect and attention given to my husband. It is hard to put into words my gratitude to Russian Program Director Elena Zeliger, Dr. Maya B., Case Manager Lidia, and all the staff at Braintree Rehab who helped my husband recover against all odds.
had a great stay @ rehab treated like a king. staff is excellent kudos to Kylie,Katie ,Alex they are true professional care givers. I was in room 300A on 3/8 23 GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU. MARTY WHITE
My grandmother Jackie stayed at Encompass for a month after a stroke and we can not say enough about the experience. Every single staff member there treated her with kindness and respect. The physical therapy and occupational therapy was absolutely amazing! If you or a loved one is given the choice, pick Encompass!
My dad had a stroke, and has parkinson's disease. This rehab is awesome! All of the staff are great, educated, great bedside manner and easy to talk to. I was nervous at first, but the more I visited and personally watching them working with my dad I knew he was in the right hands. He got discharged today and they make it special. My dad rang the bell before he left and everyone cheered. If you know someone who needs a rehab for a stroke or parkinson's then this is the spot. Thank you everyone who has helped my father! I appreciate it more than you know .
My brother just got released from this place and I gotta tell you that I was pretty impressed with the professionalism of the staff. He even said the food was good. I recommend
My dad did not even last 6 hours in the facility the first day he was there. They administered the incorrect pain medicine and tried to give him oxygen instead of his breathing treatment. He had open heart surgery and due to a coughing fit because he wasn’t given the correct things he started bleeding from the chest so they sent him back to the hospital. He got back at 3 am only to have to do physical therapy at 930am for at least an hour and a half.. for the next 2 days he continued to bleed from his chest, nurses acknowledged a second incision was oozing but no did anything. Surprise he ended up back in the hospital not even a day later. The wires holding his chest plate came out so he needed a 5 hour surgery to correct that. I have never seen a facility care so little about someone who had just had open heart surgery and keep sending him to physical therapy for 3 hours a day when he told them something was wrong. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because CJ was the only person while I was there to care and not give me an attitude when I asked for something for my dad. I know at least one person there cares.
The facility must have a time frame that they need to discharge patients because when my mother reached her estimated discharge date, it didn’t matter that she still couldn’t stand and was using a bed pan, they were discharging her home that day with services. Not sure how they expect someone to live without 24 hour care if they can’t at least stand up. They said bc she was able to do it once, she was at her goal. She was walking independently prior to hospitalization. The doctor did not listen to ANY of my concerns and straight up lied about her capabilities or just didn’t care to see that she was too weak to stand. I would not recommend.
I spent just about a week recovering from a stroke I will say if I could give them more than a ten review I would staff was very helpful and friendly I am going to name 3 people outstanding first Riley occupational therapist second Kim physical therapist and third nurse on 3rd floor kerryann amazing people my only complaint is the coffee worst coffee I have ever had but other than that the rehab deserves more than a ten for a review
My boyfriend got sent here after having a surgery at Saint Elizabeth hospital. So far so good very a tentative friendly staff and extremely clean place. My boyfriend is very happy here compared to Saint Elizabeth hospital it was dirty and poor staff. I would rather be in jail than that hospital. Ignore the bad review this hospital is A+
High turn over rate. Quality of care is poor. There are lacks of communication and teamworks among employees. Treatments and drug therapies often get delayed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
