List of Alan S Rockoff's Reviews
PLEASE READ. I came here about a year ago and I want to say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. This doctor is clearly ready to retire and doesnt care much about his work anymore or take it seriously. Don't let the reviews and awards fool you. Essentially, I went there for a growth on my skin. While taking a biopsy, he took entirely too much, left the door open as strangers walked by while I was unclothed, was yelling at the medical assistant for not bringing the instrument to mend my skin back together, and literally said "oh shoot" while he was cutting into me. I am civilized enough not to sue this man, even though I have full grounds. But he is an unfit doctor and simply mean to his staff and patients.
I just want to let you know that doctor Alan S. Rockoff was by far one of the most amazing doctors that I've ever seen. The examination was thorough, and complete. There was plenty of time for questions and the answers were patiently explained. Doctor A. Rockoff and staff were excellent.
Competent for sure but the office is a very busy factory! Hard to see an MD usually a NP
I had seen him since 2011 for a concern about a mole- he kept telling me it was fine. In 2018 he said come back in 2 years ( which is weird because visits should be yearly) so I went to new doctor this year and immediately he said it's abnormal and it tested melanoma and now I go for surgery in a week. It all could have been prevented by this doctor if he aired on the side of caution and removed and tested this mole years ago , which is a 5 minute procedure for him to do - it was always weird looking and it hasn't changed. Don't go see this doctor- he does not air on the side of caution,. I strongly think he ignores signs and creates issues for people by not doing his job. I wish I had never gone to him.
I don't know about the staff as my interactions with them is limited to check-in/check-out. Dr Rockoff is one of the most thorough, personable and communicative Drs I have ever had experience with and he always takes the time necessary to answer my question (I'm a big asker of questions) and I always leave feeling satisfied I have received excellent care. Today I had my 1st tele-med appt ever with one of his PAs and the experience was the same as when I go to the office. 1st rate.
I really love this place! His save my live !!!
With many choices ... I’ve decided, Dr Rockoff . I’m pleased to share
Dr.rockoff saw me for 2 mins after waiting 40 mins to see him. After he was done talking he just left in a hurry and then I went to look for him to ask him questions and came to realize he was with another patient. The medication he prescribed was very strong and when I emailed him to ask questions I got no reaponse. Even though Dr.rockoff was the one who suggested me to email him. I have tried calling as well and somehow can’t get through.
The staff is unwilling to help the patient. They say they send over paperwork to get authorizations but is never received. They won’t take the time to hold a few minutes in order to speak to a pharmacy staff member so prescriptions can be filled. They need to see the process through. Not call. Leave a message then not call the next day to follow up. They put it on the patient to do the leg work to get the process done. I’M DONE!
Dr. Rockoff is a thoroughly excellent doctor. I've been seeing him for about 10+ years and think he really rocks!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
