List of Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care- Washington Square's Reviews
I have never encountered such disrespectful treatment in my life. My doctor asked me to visit the 2nd FL laboratory to provide a stool sample within the next day or two. The laboratory was about to close when I arrived, thus I was provided tools to produce the sample at home and bring it back the next morning. Despite my efforts, constipation hindered my goal to collect my sample at home that night. As I had to undergo an ultrasound near the clinic the following morning, I decided to produce the sample on-site the next day. (Considering that my doctor said "within the next day or two", I believed it was okay to produce the sample the next morning.) Returning the sample to the lab, I could see that the staff is unhappy. The laboratory is a tiny room. Right in front of me (about 4~5 feet distance) and in front of other staff and patient, the staff said to her colleague, "I asked her to collect the sample yesterday at home. Some people just don't know how to follow instructions. This is why people should go get an education, so they can learn how to follow directions." I was taken aback by her disrespectful behavior, but I refrained from responding because there were other patients present, and I didn't want to make a scene. As she picked up my sample, she noticed that I had forgotten to record the date of collection on the label - A complete oversight on my part, for which I am sincerely sorry. Exiting the lab and making my way down the hallway, I could hear the staff continue to express her negative opinions about me. Even after I had walked through the 2nd-floor hallway and reached the stairs and elevator, I could hear her continuously commenting loudly, "She just needs to place the stool in the tube. How difficult can that be?" I understand the frustration is partially my fault as I forgot to record the date. However, I have never encountered such disrespectful treatment in my life. Does a patient deserve public shaming like this when the delay in producing a sample is due to a medical reason? The staff's comment in public that I should go get an education is bizarre too. It's unpleasant to be sick, but when compared to disrespect and indignity, sickness is easier to endure. I love Beth Israel, but I do not recommend this clinic.
HORRIBLE PLACE IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FALSE BLOOD ORDERS ILLITERATE DOCTORS AND ADMINS
This is a horrible place with horrible people. Avoid at all costs
I’ve been going to this office out of convenience for years. I will never go again or recommend. The front desk have no idea what they are doing and will give you information that is false. I was told to speak with the “office manager” Michelle Burnett. After speaking with her once..was told she would get back to me..She never returned any of my emails or calls..extremely unprofessional. If you can’t handle your job. Leave or try harder. Do better.
Avoid at all costs. Staff are confrontational and incompetent. Also have gone without meds. Life threatening if without them. This place should be shut down. I don’t know why I put up with it for so long. Kehlmann is great but everyone else is a hot mess.
Just set up appt for my son with PCP. Not sure about Docs, but front end were polite and helpful. For people commenting on not being able to get through....that's almost all Doctors offices these days. I was on hold, they tell you how many calls ahead of you. Many offices just forward you to voice mail, I got a person.
I have been going here for 15 years. One of my doctors left the practice, they assigned me another one. Now, my re-assigned doctor has left their practice and suddenly I am not a patient there any more. This is unprofessional, rude, and frustrating. They gave me numbers to other practices to call. I would suggest not going here.
Sadly.....I too left. I cannot even get my medical records transferred!
Doctors good but phone system so lacking. Tried to call anyone in office about an accident i had four days ago. No one answers! I don't need ER but urgent care doesn't handle situation. So trying in vain to reach my doctor each day, often. It was like this before COVID. Why can I never reach the office of my PCP ? I reach all specialists in any office easily. Sad when doctors are fine but office management so poor.
Tried calling this place 4 times. My doctor retired and recommended a physician here but i will not call again. Waited on hold for over 7 minutes on one of the calls. What good is a doctors office if nobody answers the phone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
