Dr Damsgaard did a total knee replacement for me that was a complete success. Pain was minimal and was able to walk a mile three times a day ten days after surgery.

dr D did an excellent job on my left hip, but on my right hip it was a nightmare I had subluxation for about a year. I saw him twice once five months after the surgery and the second time a year after the surgery both times he just tried to prescribe medicine and said physical therapy to try and alleviate the subluxation. Something was out of alignment shortly after I saw him a second time. I was laying on my bed. I simply brought my right knee to my chest to stretch and I dislocated my hip and was in the emergency room for seven hours. He called me the next day from his cell phone. It was breaking up and left me a message saying he’d call me in a few days a few days past he didn’t call me back, I was pretty upset and when I asked him why he didn’t call me back he just said I was busy again I think he’s a very good surgeon but his follow up with beyond atrocious. I’m sure there are surgeons out there that can do both excel in the operating room and excel when they follow up

I have seen Dr Damsgaard two times, to consult about a knee replacement. He has been terrific, listened to my questions and concerns. Answering thoroughly and was very patient with me. I am definitely going to have him do the surgery and could not feel any more comfortable and confident in him. Have had friends who have seen him for hip replacement and the are extremely happy with the results. I would definitely recommend seeing him before making any decisions about surgery. Also helped me with my hip issues through non surgical treatments. I give him 5 Stars.. top notch, kind and caring.

I saw Dr. Damsgaard after a lengthy medical issue that another surgeon wanted his input on. I felt listened to and the visit was consultative not prescriptive. Dr. Damsgaard followed up with the other surgeon for next steps and got back to me the same day.

Dr. Damsgaard did a full hip replacement surgery on my right hip late in 2022. From the start, I was impressed with Dr. Damsgaard's easy, warm, and kind demeanor. He and his staff have always been helpful and professional. The program itself was top-notch, with impeccable organization. Embarking on this surgery was somewhat scary, but I felt in good hands and now, some four months after surgery, having healed well and continuing to take good care of my new hip, I feel very lucky to have been steered toward a caring and more than competent surgeon.

Always does excellent job on appointments, highly recommend Dr.Damgaard,answers all your questions. Did great job on my hip replacement.

I needed my left knee and hip replaced. I met with Dr Damsgaard and. after listening to my concerns, he came up with a plan. Both of my surgeries went off with no problems and I haven’t felt this good in over 3 years. He was very good at keeping me informed and involved with the procedures. Whenever I met with him, I never felt rushed and he always took his time with my post op appointments. I couldn't be more happier with him and would highly recommend Dr. Damsgaard to anyone needing a hip or knee replacement. Also, his office assistant (Nuria) was excellent to deal with when scheduling my appointments with any isdues I had in making sure my medications got refilled

I had my right knee replaced by Dr. Damsgaard recently and the surgery went great and 4 months later it feels very good with no pain and lots of range of motion!
