List of Syed Ali's Reviews
He’s a good doctor.
Worst place for ANY services: referral department is useless, you're not allowed to leave voicemail messages with Dr. Ali, receptionists have no idea what they're doing, prescription refills never get sent to the pharmacy without having to REPEATEDLY call the doctor's office back. My 86 year old mother been waiting since SEPTEMBER! for in home physical therapy ordered by Dr. Ali. They refer patients not knowing whether or not patients insurance even covers who their being refered to and NEVER follow up on the referral leaving the patient in limbo! Run in the opposite direction if ever considering this office: I'm now running to a malpractice attorney because my mother's knee is only getting worse. 👎👎👎 Only gave 1 ⭐ because required in order to leave a review.
I had a test done October 3rd, the np no longer works there that ordered it after weeks on the phone trying to call my Dr office that doesn't ever answer their phones. I finally get someone to answer and they told me she is no longer there and I said ok and what about the test I had done October 3rd? What test? I said the ultra sound she ordered. Well she was gone before the results came back. And I said ok so no other dr has looked at it? No but ill make this a priority. Still no call back still no one looking at it dont go here. No one answers and no one informs you that the np who ordered it was gone and no other dr will pick up the results. If your looking for a dr dont come here.
Stayed with dr Ali for a few years and never cared for his curt personality and lecturing. Felt like I was always being quizzed when he had access to my records.
Dr Ali is amazing!!! I feel blessed finally to have an amazing primary doctor who is unbiased, kind, patient, understanding, thorough! Mercy medical group has been very good to me. I see a few specialist and all have shown what Dignity is: Compassion & kindness. And important: experience and awareness. Dr Ali also is an internal Med specialist! I would highly recommend Dr Ali to friends and family.
This doctor is very rude. He doesn't listen to you. I am not going to be going to him any longer. I've had him for a year and not satisfied with him at all. He's had three other ladies leave him!!
Dr. Ali Syed is my primary care doctor in Charlton. He is caring, a great listener and truly cares about his patients.
I found Dr. Ali to question everything i said, was asked questions he only wanted a yes or no answer, not allowed to explain. Because i refused a med he told me i had heart problems, prior visit he said my heart was good, very manipualative! Questione what i had in a cup, i said water, he asked where i got it, he thinks i was a drinker, I am not. Excessive appointments every 30 days, i had to tell him i was going away to get a break from him.asked jhow long was i going for.ivw had enough blood draws, one visit i said i had a headache, i was given orders for an MRI of my head, cat scans up the ying ying. I have been going through testing with my Gastrointerologist but this guy qants more testing. Do not go to him.
Cares about his work, thorough, easily accessible, but lacks bedside manner, over-controlling, and wants to control every aspect versus meeting patient in the middle where they are at, imposes his own value system on his patients
Dr. Ali successfully treated my chronic condition after having visited multiple physicians with little success. He is highly intelligent, thorough, analytical, and dedicated. He answers questions and concerns with knowledge and compassion.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
