He spoke with me for about 5 minutes, ignored the fact that my major complaint was my shoulder. Gave a script for a brace and sent me to get an emg. Came back negative so brace was useless. When I asked about my shoulder he concurred with the other doctor at this practice that I had cervical radiculopathy. I took it upon myself to schedule pt appointments and got a second opinion. Not only did I not have cervical radiculopathy, but I have a cyst in my shoulder that I am getting an MRI on and am getting treatment for the correct diagnosis.

Great surgeon positive attitude always upbeat… hand surgery twice …First one was very successful last one I just had yesterday… everything went just as he said it would… I would refer anyone to Dr Tomaney!

Unfortunately we had an unfortunate encounter with this Doctor after requesting to see him post a PA evaluation. Of note this PA is not the doctors personal PA. Above MD obviously wasn’t happy and a bit condescending concerning that a test another provider who was visiting me daily had ordered. Said no Hand surgeon required for me. Well less then a week later I underwent an urgent Hand/Wrist surgery to hopefully prevent permanent nerve damage I had no feeling in any fingers and parts of my hand. Thank goodness I was smart enough to ask for a second opinion. Proper nerve test done. Hand post surgery is 80% improved with hope of all numbness to abate. Thank goodness. Nerve pain and burning is nothing to take lightly and let someone’s ego compromise a medical evaluation. Hand issues are serious with possible life long issues if not addressed appropriately.

Top notch doctor. Great bedside manner, professional and friendly. My hand surgery had perfect results, little to no pain afterwards, and no scarring.

I saw Dr. Tomany this morning after a coworker recommended him to me. I was very impressed with his knowledge, his confidence when conveying his opinion, and my overall experience. He gave me his opinion, explained why he felt that way, and you could tell he was looking at my case as its own, not just giving the textbook answer.

Received endoscopic procedure for carpal tunnel. Dr. Tomany thoroughly explained what would take place. I literally did not require so much as a single Tylenol after the procedure. Five days post op and dressing has come off, all looks good. All staff were courteous, I will not hesitate to have my other hand done in the fall.

I will not be using this doctor again ,no matter when or who you call I hardly ever get an answer. They don't even have a real voice mail set up, it just beeps after awhile without letting you know that your supposed to be leaving a message, which is pointless because no one ever gets back to you anyways. The service itself was mediocre at best. Doctor rushed and didnt seem to have any interest in my comments or concerns, responding with "I'm the professional" Such a dissapointment

Dr Tomany is the best hand surgeon in the area, hands down! Personality, knowledge and care are excellent. Highly recommend Dr Tomany for orthopedic care.

In my opinion Dr tomany himself is a 5 plus ! He is very attentive , kind spends alot of time with you and explains things in great detail . i wad sent to anothet doctor prior to seeing Dr Tomany and all i can say is thank god Dr Tomany was avaiable ad the otherDoctor was useless arrogant and misdiagnosed me ! I would highly reccomend Dr Tomany to anyone !
