Bilh Urgent Care- Chestnut Hill's Online Review Report Card

We had an extremely disappointing experience: my parter went in with classic symptoms of gastroenteritis; I couldn’t accompany due to an onset of COVID. The staff only insisted on testing for respiratory pathogens despite recent travel to Central America and an absolute lack of respiratory symptoms. The staff were dismissive of my partner’s GI symptoms. I no longer have confidence in this location’s ability to meet our health care needs.

The nurse Kara at here is DEHUMANIZATION, DUTY MISCONDUCT and RACE DISCRIMINATION. I had flu test at here on Dec 27, 23 and I return here with the positive result on the next morning. (I do self-pay and wear face mask correctly) BUT the nurse Kara (9am December 28,2023) refused to accept my walk in. She keeps saying loudly many times“YOU HAVE VIRUS”and she asked me to leave. Nurse Kara is totally duty neglect! The regulation is nurse should talk with Doctor for the medicine prescription to flu patients. Flu patients need special Flu medicine called Tamiflu which required to be taken in the very first 24 hours. I have to run to another name urgent care center, self pay again the walk-in fee $130, to see new doctor for the Tamiflu. The nurse Kara should be resigned at 2024!!!

I came in on October 20 with mild chest pain and had just fainted. They ran blood work and the core blood test for blood clots was high. The nurse told me it’s probably not anything but they’re required to send me to the ER. She said I could take my time and go home and then go back out to the ER when I was ready because there was probably nothing wrong anyways. When I went to the ER they diagnosed me with a pulmonary embolism which is life threatening when untreated. The nurse just did not treat me with proper urgency at all and in the ER they took the whole thing very seriously.

Would not recommend this urgent care. Poor set up, billing and inefficient care. Told my mom to come back to another scan when it was necessary but made her worry

I think this urgent care has more experienced medical care than many and so I keep going back. But they don’t really know how to run an urgent care. I reserved a space in line in the am and got there early for my space in line. Took over 1 hour and 10 min to see a doctor. I had to go ask a nurse if they forgot me. They explained to me how the reserve a space works. Which is- it doesn’t really mean anything and does t rescue anything. I can hear the staff laughing and enjoying themselves outside the door - just makes me think they are not busy. Waited another 20 minutes after the doctor for discharge papers. Just not staffed properly to provide reasonable care. It’s a shame.

Horrible experience. I came in for an allergic reaction on a Sunday, covered in hives. My PCP office closed due to the weekend. Doctor Rosen acted as though I was somehow an inconvenience to HIM. His bedside manner was non existent. I was there for a total of 3 hours, and for 2 hours and 55 minutes of that time I was waiting alone in a room. I am the mother of a 2x cancer survivor and have come across loads of doctors these past few years. People who are sick or need medical attention deserve to be treated respectfully and cared for in a kind and friendly manner. If a doctor does not have those qualities, they shouldn’t be a doctor.

I made an appointment at 7:00 pm. This is 9:20 PM I am still waiting for the doctor. I saw a man who has broken foot in the waiting room. He had to wait more than 2 hours too. The Worse experience ever.

Traumatizing! I came to this Urgent Care for something I know I had before and while testing, they diagnosed something different that they said is more important than what I came for. When I returned to tell them that they forgot to give me a prescription for what I originally came for because I was still suffering from the same symptoms 2 days later, they said I have to check in again and cannot give me a prescription. The nurse in her loud voice wasn't even trying to be apologetic to their mistakes. She was more arrogant than helpful. I somehow feel I was too nice to this nurse. When she was putting the IV dextrose to my right arm, the blood spurted to my shirt and the bedsheet. The nurse rushed her hand to the cabinet to get cottons to wipe my blood all over my arm. Erratic? Inexperienced? Lack of training? I didn't even make a comment or reaction on her mess that time. Attached picture after she cleaned up. But you can still see the mess Although I am thankful that they found that "something more important", I can hardly recommend this urgent care to anyone if he or she has other choices.

Really great experience, especially the staff dealing with my anxiety. Very thorough testing, great bedside manner. Can not say enough great things about my experience -thank you! -Elizabeth 7/17/23
