Didn’t like a solution to my visit problem. Got a second opinion Dr Sobell told me to live with it. It turned out to be an aggressive skin cancer that could have metastasized and become a big problem

I was diagnosed with, and have been treated for, psoriasis since I was in my teens. Usually with disappointing results. Over the next 45 years, I consulted some of the top dermatological experts in the treatment of psoriasis and have used about every treatment, biological and topical, that has come out. Nothing really worked well for me. About a year ago, I saw (yet another) dermatologist, Dr. Jeffrey Sobell in Chestnut Hill near Boston. During the very first appointment, he said "you don't have psoriasis - you have eczema." I was floored. I've seen over a dozen dermatologists in my life, all of whom treated my condition as psoriasis. I am now being treated for eczema and am effectively cured! My skin problems have totally disappeared. I can't thank Dr. Sobell enough.

Dr. Sobell is awesome!! I spent years struggling with psoriasis, and I really have him to thank for helping me find a treatment plan that actually works for my condition (I'm now clear 90% of the time). Even at times when my psoriasis has been very severe, seeing Dr. Sobell always gives me confidence that it'll be cleared up soon, and I leave the office feeling really optimistic. He always seems to be aware of the latest treatments coming down the pipeline and his personality is phenomenal too!

Dr Sobell truly cares about his patients. He not only cares about health issues he treats me for but he helps me with health issues that he can treat. You don't find that all the time.

I have been going to Dr. Sobell for many years. He is an excellent doctor and is up to the minute on all new procedures biologics such as Humera. etc. I give him 5 stars.

I had a rash and I put my life in this guys hands to fix the problem. He looked at it, prescribed some nonsense cream that did nothing and didn't even diagnose me. 2 years later, the rash is still there. I am currently seeking a second opinion. I would not recommend this doctor for anything.

Extremely caring, knowledgable & thorough. Immediately got to the root of a 9 yr old problem unsuccessfully handled by several other doctors. A pleasure to deal with with extremely efficient office staff. I travel 1 hr to see him because it's well worth the time. My last 3 appointments, during my drive home, I've received text notifications from my pharmacy that a new prescription he had *just* written for me at the office had been filled. I've never dealt with such an efficient office.
