Excellent experience from day one with Dr. Sloan. Having been very disappointed by working with a different surgeon who strung me along for 5 months, Dr. Sloan was just who I needed. Dr. Sloan was kind, patient, informative and easy to work with. Instead of making me try more, different treatments, he looked at my images and said I was a good candidate for a hip replacement. His team was helpful and caring. Each appointment was something I appreciated, other than dreaded. Everything was explained to me, so there were no surprises. Because Dr. Sloan uses the robot assisted anterior approach to hip replacement, there were fewer post op restrictions and protocols. 10 weeks out, my new hip is serving me very well. I have very few restrictions on what I can and want to do. I could not be more pleased. Or recommend a doctor more.

Dr. Sloan explained the x-rays letting me know what I was seeing. He explained my options to treat the situation. He discussed the pros & cons of each. I chose to have a cortisone shot which he administered. It was done with minimal discomfort. His demeanor was easy and comforting . He seemed very empathetic and set my expectations for both short and long term.

Dr. Sloan and his staff answered all questions and concerns with a prompt and thorough explanation that was easy to understand. No questions were ignored. Total knee replacement surgery and recovery as setup by his office went extremely well. I would highly recommend Dr Sloan and his staff.
