I went to Dr. Lamattina after having a pacemaker installed in an emergency situation (for which my current cardiologist at the time was not available), since I was having continuing problems with discomfort and tightness. He identified the problem immediately as unrelated to the arrhythmia, suggested a solution, and performed the operation (installing a stent). This completely addressed the problem. He is patient, caring and conscientious, very willing to thoroughly explain his findings. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient for more than 15 years. Dr. LaMattina is always checking in and making sure tests are done on a timely basis as part of my on-going monitoring. He and my internest communicate well to keep them both up to date..

I can verifie that Dr. LaMattinna is an excellent doctor. Under his care for many years at which point about six years ago he discovered by my Emergency X rays taken that I was due for a serious heart condition. He sent me emmediately by Ambulance to Brighton's Saint Elizabeths Hospital for triple by-pass surgery. So now I am with permanent cardiavascular disease but my life is normal and I have never again had any heart pain or chest pain. Also I am with my third Cardiac pacmaker and am doing great working out doors all the time. At the age of 88 I have no complaints about this doctor. He is great. I get check ups now every six months andhave no complaints.

Dr Lamattina and his team were all I could ask for and ran and evaluated a number of critical tests. He was also on the Cardiac Cath team at Beth Israel Deaconess and was totally supportive and professional

Long wait, rude front staff

Dr. Lamattina is a wonderful cardiologist. He listens well and explains clearly what is happening and what the choices are. He became my cardiologist in 2001 when I had a heart attack. A stent was placed at that time. In 2015 when I had chest pains again, he and his staff responded quickly, professionally and with great care. A double bypass was performed and since then I've been doing great. I highly recommend Dr. Lamattina and his team.

My mother was under the care of this doctor for atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed years ago and told to contact him if she experienced anything "abnormal". The prescription she started on was renewed year after year without any check in required from the doctor, meanwhile, my mom didn't know what qualified as "abnormal" so had not contacted the doctor about the a-fib episodes she experienced. Due to this negligence, my mom suffered a severe stroke. I would not recommend this doctor.
