I work hands on with this Doctor and I must say she is one of the BEST doctors, very educational as well as very poilte. She is the type of doctor that puts her patients first! I would recommend anyone to her. She makes her work enviroment a better place to work. YOU ROCK, and thanks for all you do for us.
Doctor Otovic has the difficult task of giving bad news to patients and families as a hospice doctor. I think it she has worked hard in primary care and in hospice to help families manage illnesses they were not expecting. Not may people are willing to do that.
Awesome Doctor, I found her information to be acurate, I recommended her to other family members and they also found her to be great..we didn't have to wait long, follow up appointments were always on time. I found her very caring always during our appointments. Her staff members were very professional and always help with information needed. I would recommend Dr. Otovic to anybody who asked me if I new a great Doctor! :)
Worst doctor at Hospice in Danvers...would never want her to take care of anyone during their last days of live...no compassion, very blunt and cold.....awful !!!
I am surprised to read these comments as I have found Dr Otovic to be quite the opposite. For me, she has treated all of my health concerns with quick referrals, tests, and medications without any hesitation. Her bedside manner is perfectly professional and down-to-earth. I absolutely hated the practice she was in while being in Essex, MA and am glad she looked for a more professional team to work with in Gloucester. It was the office staff that were always behind schedule and were completely unprofessional often ranting, raving, and complaining all within earshot of whomever was waiting to be seen.
Close minded, unaware of the current facts concerning Lyme Disease, misdiagnosed, lacking in compassion. wouldnt send my worst enemy to this quack
This Doctor has what is possibly the worst bed side manner I've ever experienced. She did not seem very knowlegdable about my specific health problems, or about anything for that matter. The exam was hurried through, with little to no interaction, and in the end, she ordered tests that I found extremely unnessecary as well as actually a bit offensive. Her demeanor was cold and generally insensitive, and I also felt very uncomfortable about several comments that were made about my weight and appearance. The office was great, though, wonderful staff, aside from this particular practitioner.
I was referred to Otovic by a Beverly Hosp ER doc after enduring a serious injury while at the chiropractor. When she found out how my injury happened she became very aggressive, argumentative, and hostile. She dismissed all of my symptoms. Overall she was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and inappropriate with me. She started interrogating me about the events leading up to, and immediately following, the incident and when I said I felt I was being interrogated she accused me of lying and changing my story. She offered no real assistance. At a later date, we went back to get a copy of my medical records. We met with another doctor in the office, as Otovic was no longer working there. The doctor shared how I was not the first patient to experience this with her.She shared how Dr. Otovic had been so pleasant and well- qualified when she first came on staff. And she expressed disappointment that Otovic's attitude and behaviors had changed and become so chronically unprofessional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
