Karen L. Smith's Online Review Report Card

My husband and I love Dr Karen Smith. She can be cut and dry and we really like that. She is a professional and we don't expect professionals to be anything but all business. She cared for me in both my pregnancies. Both of which were csections and she did flawless procedures. We always knew what the next step was and what to expect. Very informative. We will not be having anymore children but if we were we would choose her again in a second. Im actually going to miss her, nurse Amy and receptionist Michelle. We had back to back pregnancies and I felt connected to all 3. Highly recommended. Other doctors commented on how intelligent Dr Karen Smith is, proof was in the pudding. Shes exceptional.

Dr. Smith has been my obgyn since 2009, excellent knowledge and will give her all. Straight forward and certainly cares about her patients. Also does not rush appointments and greatly on time!

I was pregnant with my first baby in 2020 literally the worst year for every one in the world. I'm not a fan of this doctor. She didn't make me feel comfortable or heard. I understand that this is her job but when you start treating people like they are just another number instead of a new mom about to give birth in the worst year ever maybe it's time to do something else

Definitely not the best bedside manor but you can’t ask for everything and eat it too. My wife hemorrhaged after giving birth via c section dr smiths gave her three options and out the door they went if she hadn’t been there my wife wouldn’t be here with myself and my new born. Thank you doc.

Dr. Smith cared for me during both of my children and I love her. She is straight forward answered all of my questions and I would recommend her to anyone.

She's not warm and fuzzy, but definitely knows her stuff. Trust her completely.

I do not like to give a negative review, but I feel like other needs to know about my experience with this doctor. She is rude (never smiles and gave me the feeling to be treated by a robot) and is NOT on top of things. Ok, I do not need the best bedside manners IF the doctor is competent, but she gave me the overall feeling that she is not. I had to remind her about simple things during all my pregnancy (e.g to give me my RhoGAM shot!) and she could not explain me the (positive) results of my QUAD test (simple probabilities!). During all my pregnancy, I found the answers of my questions in books and online. The only time I followed her advices, I truly regretted it. I wanted a natural delivery and ended up with a c-section... I am dissapointed and wish I have listen to the bad reviews online and changed earlier. When I delivered (thank god she was on vacation!), I also clearly got the feeling that most nurses did not like her.
