Started with office staff. While attempting to make an appointment, Kate kept speaking to several people in the office at the same time. I asked her on more than one occasion if she needed to put me on hold. She made it VERY clear that they would be in an extreme rush to get out of the office on my appt day so they did not have to deal with traffic in Boston. Were supposed to send paperwork and appt details along with phone number for me to text when I arrived for appt. Never showed. Called twice. Finally arrived the day before at 1600 ish. Arrive 30 minutes prior to appt at the request of Kate with paperwork in hand all filled out. 45 minutes after my scheduled appt, I am still sitting in the blazing sun in the parking lot awaiting a text. At that point, I get out of my car and observe staff packing up equipment. If this surgeon is as fast food as his staff, mistakes will happen in the OR. Don't go here!

I am happy to share a review for Dr. John Tierney of Greater Boston Orthopedic Center. I had been with a team of orthopedics at Brigham and Women's at Patriot's Place the past nine weeks for a severe knee injury. In our first visit today I learned more about my injury through the careful and thorough analysis he gave as we looked at the MRI together than in the previous nine weeks at Brigham and Women's! I feel very confident that he has the experience, expertise and communications skills that will help me through this healing process.

Too sure of himself! Had a total knee replacement and had a lot of pain after the fact. If I wasn’t proactive I would not have found a blood clot. Shop around. It is a big operation!!

I had a shoulder RTC repair over a month ego. I am very pleased with Dr. Tierney work and caring. All his staff were great. I am very grateful for all the help and caring. Excellent services!

Thorough explanations and choices offered without pressure! A Dr. who LISTENS to a patient is a welcome wonder!! Dr. Tierney & staff were kind & patient which was greatly appreciated! Would DEFINITELY recommend!

dr Tierney is the man looked at my issue got me in and did it right came from cape cod and love this guy. does xrays to make sure things are going well. and doesn't baby you so when healing you recover faster and stronger .have 3 friends seeing him now....would and did recommend him to many..

Dr.Tierney is a great Dr.he always has time to explain everything to me in depth so i can understand,you can opt to have your surgery at either the waltham center or NEBH which the waltham center was very laid back,and relaxed not that ER hospital atmosphere .The staff is very professional and the office staff are incredible when it comes to notes and filling out disability forms,i am awaiting a 2nd surgery in a week for my other leg.I needed an MRi and the office got me scheduled in later that same day,they have the office,x-ray Mri and physical therapy all right there in the building at DEDHAM HEALTH AND ATHLETIC
