A couple weeks earlier I had to leave an MRI facility because it had a closed tube machine and Im very claustrophobic. It didnt help that the technicians there piled 2 heavy packs onto my midsection apparently required for the outdated technology of that machine. All this along with wearing a mask because of COVID.The Dedham MRI was a very different experience as close to pleasant as an MRI can be. It was an open MRI so I was able to see open spaces to my right and left. The person who did the MRI was quick efficient highlyskilled and kind. I did not feel like I was being tortured at any time in contrast to my previous experience at the different facility. If I ever need another MRI this is the place I will go.

The staff was nice enough but the access and signage was ridiculous.  Taking an elevator up and then taking a long walk through the health club and then down another elevator is just stupid if you need to use a walker.They need a sign pointing to their direct entrance on the far left side of the building.   The receptionist acknowledged this has been a frequent complaint.

For a company that claims to be on the cutting edge of technology and also claims to provide compassionate service they are not in any hurry to get you your results so you can address your injury promptly. If you have options for where to go for your imaging give someone else a chance. This place does not impress.  In this age of technology how long can it possibly take for someone to read your images. A few years ago we were able to get instant results on imaging at midnight near the casino in Connecticut at a small clinic.

Wonderful staff very professional. The receptionist got me a glass of water. She knew I was very nervous and was extremely kind to me. She allowed my daughter to go in with me. Rose who did the test put extra padding on the table for me so I could be more comfortable. I had to stop halfway through the test do to nausea she was patient and very kind. I was able to finish the MRI. I am very grateful to the staff.

This was generally a good experience. The Open MRI is a little easier than a traditional MRI but the ceiling is still very low and was on top of my face. I thought the Dedham location was generally difficult to get to as it is located inside a health club and then you have to take an elevator to get down to MRI. It was also difficult to park there as the parking is shared by the health club. Upon checking in I did not find the receptionist overly friendly so started to have some hesitation. It is my opinion if you are going to work in healthcare with people in pain you should attempt to be friendly. Instead I was just bombarded with a bunch of paperwork upon my arrival. When it was time for my scan the radiologist was very nice and I feel like she made this visit pleasant. She ensured I was comfortable before I was scanned and then kept talking to me over the speaker in between scans telling me I was doing good. When my scan was complete she said I did good and then sent me to the lobby to wait for a cd with my images on it. I liked that I left with the images. When I left the receptionist ended up telling me to have a good night which was good. I feel like if she were a little nicer and more comforting at the beginning of the visit that this rating would have been higher. I would go back here if I needed another scan in the future.

I like the idea that one can preregister on line. The open MRI is still somewhat scary but is so much better than a regular MRI. The technician that did my latest MRI constantly checked in with me to see how I was doing. I felt comfortable with him.

I set up an appointment for 830 AM I live fairly close so I waited at home rather than in the waiting room arriving at 825. They said you were supposed to be here at 810 to fill out paper work we are going to have to reschedule your supposed to be in the machine right now. I am usually at work at 530 AM I had already lost three hours of work waiting for them to say you arrived on time you should have been early. If that is the case why not schedule the time you are supposed to be there for the time you are supposed to be there. Not difficult.

I have had a couple of MRI there everyone is so nice . Very professional staff
